As for my last word on the Source vs 1.6 issue is this: The reason Counter-Strike was named by CPL [ League for all the best teams, Cyberatlete Pro League ] as the World Tour Game for 2006 is because the fanbase for the game is simply larger, and the game is better as voiced by the majority of the community. Source is a good game, no doubt, but 1.6 is still miles ahead and all source did was add pretty graphics and useless physics and take 2 steps back. There are less hackers on Source. But you can tell even from the hackers which is the more prominent game simply because more people and prizes and tournaments come from 1.6 http://www.steampowered.com/status/game_stats.html Even Condition Zero considered by many 1.6 players to be better than 1.6 itself. There is no way Source is going to be the future of Counter-Strike. I wish all of you participating in any leagues, be it OGL, CAL, XPL, NEL, GGL, or CEVO good luck and a smooth season! | ||

I even played 1.6 recently and thought it was a joke that i had ever considered the old engine entertaining. I really think its once you get used to the source engine that you begin to like it more: why play sc when you can play bw? | ||

[ For those of you that don't know, the finals of WCG are played in source ] I like how you're a fucking moron chraej and you ignore every FACT that I'm giving you. 1.6 has more people who play it, more people who support it, and is named THIS YEAR'S world cpl tour game. Even though Source was released after it and is the sequel to 1.6. The only reason I mentioned Condition Zero is because the large majority of players will say that it is better than source by a huge margin. You're a fucking moron chraej and you're a fucking noob at counter-strike on top of that. I hope you get banned again for being so FUCKING retarded.
