I only play Terran and tbh besides some FFA haven't even played the other races and don't even intend to do so i just need a break . I still enjoy watching tournaments but playing not so much. | ||

I dont play a lot cause its freaking hard (im meching only) and the patches wont make it easier for me and my style. Also the Laddermaps are old - very old. | ||

I found playing against zerg really hard for me, i love to make alot of marines but they would also just kill me with baleings and if i went mech they would tear my base to part with mutas while i teched up. So I switched to Protoss for a few games and enjoyed them but wasn't getting the success i was after and they didn't really fit my style. So about 3 weeks ago i swapped over to zerg. To start with I only swapped to the other races for a bit of fun and to just see what happened but now after playing zerg for a bit it's really helped me to reset my mind. By this I mean I now scout correctly, i react to what they're doing which is an important part of a zerg. I win games now because i assess what they are doing and then chose my tech path. My macro is good enough to beat plat players but it's just my decition making and planning that let me down which i've found has improved dramatically while playing zerg. I feel I have more map control, I feel safer and my ecomey is generally better with zerg than with Terran. This could all change if I do continue to climb the ladder but right now this is why i play zerg. Terran is now my fave match up, probably because i knew what i hated when playing against zerg and i just do it back to them  My win rate is so much higher now and i've climbed much higher than i was able to now i'm playing zerg. | ||

But the anfter 2 weeks of pure Terran I felt like I was doing always the same boring stuff... Stuff that you can also try to do with the other races that already have alot of different fun features that T doesn't have. I had the same results, when it comes down to win percentage, with T that I had with P and Z so I didn't felt the frustration that most of you guys talk about (but also I'm just a high plat/low diamond player on my accounts so I think it's different in this case), but what didn't make me want to continue play with T was was the that the race became stale for me in a short period of time. | ||

Also have in mind that Terran got nothing cool in sc2. Zerg have it's swarm and all that, Protoss is shiny and have cool high tech stuff as storm and lazer pew pew. In sc1 Terran had an awesome fucking siege tanks killing your shit with awesome sound effects. It's just like in sc1. There was/is so many Protoss players in the lower ranks because they are much easier at that level while Terran is fucking hard not do die with. | ||

A shame really cause XvT matchups are way more fun to play then XvZ/XvP. With the exception of TvZ anyway. Can't blame them though since i did the same xD. Switched T to random. I just couldn't enjoy TvP.... On topic: i noticed this too, and ive been playing with the idea of being terran again for some time now, maybe ill switch back soon. | ||
