Poll: Which game is more balanced:Starcraft or Warcraft?
(Vote): Starcraft:Broodwar
(Vote): Wacraft3:Frozen Throne
I have just read the finals from Wc3 finals from the battle.net ladder and i haven't seen Human players in equal numbers just like Orc/Undeard/NightElf. And it seems that NightElf is just like terran on Starcraft.
I wanted to know the opinions of the players who play Wc3 if it is balanced ? I mean if u look to Sc even if toss players have a hard time nowadays, from time to time they win at first place.
From past experience i can say that Sc is so balanced that every major race has won. THis year from Sc point of view i can say it is the year of the Zerg players 
Don't flame the post saying Sc is better than wc3 pls. I don't want that.

i am a commited sc fan and antiWC3 fan, but thats not hte reason i voted for sc..
sc has gone through almost 7-8 years of changing in order to balance it,whereas wc ony 2-3..
wc has 4 races as well...

I've got the impression that TFT is close to being balanced nowadays. Allthough I've heard some people complain about NE being to strong vs Orc, and Human suffering a bit..
TFT is a great game, by far the 2nd best RTS ever created. Still, my vote goes to Starcraft, which I think is more balanced.. Alltough TFT may be harder to balance with 4 races and all.

warcraft isn't balanced... and it wont ever be balanced (well maybe 1-5% chance that someday it will be as balanced as BW)...

Some say that balancing 4 races is practically impossible. As I know, there are balance problems on most maps on almost every matchup in WC3. And yes, they say that in patch 1.18 elf is imba

WC3 races reminds me of the different races in AOE where they're really not that much different except minor stats (Heros excluded of course). Because of that I don't see how WC3 can't be more balance than BW, but then again AOE also had major imbalance problems too.

warcraft3 is a good game but probably not nearly as indepth or as complex as starcraft i can tell u that.
but it is not overly imb like most people think.
last eswc winner was an uder (fov) 2nd place is an uder(madfrog).
last acon5 winner is a human (WE.Sky).
grubby with his orc is still maybe the best player in the world.
WE.Remind's micro is fucking insane but he still gets owned by sky 4:0.
no one on the WEG tourny had even come close to scratch spirit.moon.
but spirit.moon gets pwned so ridiculus by WE.Remoind when they play.
so whats the conclusion? there are skills in warcraft even if you don't like to admit it.
i think destroyers needs some adjustments because even the best human player we.sky struggle against a medicore uder.
but NE is so hyped, granted most people can win more with their NE than with their other races. its much easier to play NE well compare with say human but at the top level, ne isn't imbalanced.

Problem is that Blizzard is trying made balance Hu=Orc=Un=Ne.That's most boring type of balance ever.Thx to 'imba' is W3 still fun.A little at least  .
SC balance P>T>Z>P is much more fun.

I probably got you wrong, but P>T>Z>P seems to me like: Protoss wins over Terran, Terran wins over Zerg and Zerg wins over Protoss. Making the game similar to RPS :o

I think that's the point he was trying to get across. I mean, would you play rock, paper, scissors if all 3 choices were balanced?
Oh, and actually I do think that starcraft is fairly balanced, but I haven't played very long so what do I know.
