Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. by the way... people seem not to have realized it yet, but drones with +1 carapace will now survive 2 shots from a hellion with pre-igniter and +1 vehicles... which is over the top don't you find? and zerg will most likely have +1 carapce earlier than terran will have +1 vehicle attack...

the immortals needed the range so much. right now, it is a very clunky unit in large engagements, and it seems to fall short vs. marauders since it gets hung up so much on stalkers, sentries, and other immortals. this change probably should have come when they buffed roach range to 4

# of nerfs doesnt matter, balance matters.
If they have to nerf Terran 6 million times and buff Zerg 1 million to get close to balance so be it. Blizzard makes money off these tournaments, these tournaments do better if people tune in. More people will tune in if game is perceived as balanced so that's their aim. No hate bro, just business.

It's like Blizzard is watching my games, I was experimenting with 2immortal + prism speed harass vs zerg, while taking a third behind it, It works out really well, just quite apm intensive, and now both of them are buffed :p

imo a very good change is the reduced vision up ramps.. the hellion nerf is very good even if they could have reduced the costs a bit at least... i still feel like they should have removed the infestor energy upgrade, but at least they reduced the damage...even if it wont have a real effect on fungaling a whole group of marines which will instantly die (on the 2nd fungal)...

Actually I miss read. It concerns the sight range, not the attack range I guess.

Calm down guys, this patch isnt official just yet. It is still being tested and there is going to be a lot of feedback (also a lot of QQ) just like any other patch. My hope is the patch doesnt affect the game too drastically and players adapt quickly to it.

Good patch. I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't do anything for hydralisks. Maybe they don't do anything because they are being reworked for HoTS.

about time warp prism got a boost in hitpoints. this will make them much more viable
