Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Any posts made after my post [page 233] not addressing the changes in this patch directly and containting flames or general balance whine will get banned for at least a week. ~Nyovne

I don't like the contamination cost increase , at least from the ZvZ perspective. I feel like it would eliminate possibilities for timing pushes as ways to come back. ZvZ would be even more boring than it is right now.

Unfortunatelly this make the "protoss air force" a little more useless in PvZ like other M.U.

Hope blizzard try to do something in future patch for the stargate tech path, cause we never see (except some special tactics from white ra) pros makes carriers or an army comp with this nice unit.

The infestor nerf is such a big nerf.... its like 10 dmg less for 1 fungal.... this would affect ZvP damn a lot... but the overseer cost buff should've been done since the start of sc2.... its so exp just to hunt the dts and yet it dies so easily....

Don't know if you saw it, but they also reduced the cost of the overseer, so a change to contaminate was almost necessary because they were now so cheap, if anything you might see contaminate more often, but once the overseers are dead it will be harder to do it again in quick succession.

I like this overall, but blue flame nerf seems too much.
They should either decrease blue flame cost or let the blue flame upgrade also make more dmg against non-light units (like +5 vs light, +2 vs all other).
Off-season = best season

Yep I'm fine with it. I'd rather the threat to Zerg be from cool microd drops than from boring allins after all.

Hmm... I dont like the infestor nerf, now that Zerg FINALLY could do something against the deathball, infestors get nerfed -.-
Really like the Hellion and the Warp Prism changes, but why dont they buff Hydras? Theyre just SO bad, noone uses them except vs air.
Ultra buff was needed, all in all i like the patch, but they should prolly make Infestors a bit stronger as they are intended to be after this patch.

You know better than the pros right? Because you're so much better than everybody? This kind of comments make me feel ill.

The progaming mentality is "don't try to fix the game, fix your play". Well, it IS a game, if it's broken it should be changed. Yet I feel like we're still in beta. There are just too many things in need of change.
PS: I should stop writing because:
If you talk about imbalance or make balance suggestions, you will be BANNED. We're not here to change the game - that's Blizzard's job (or take it to SC2 General if you must). We're here to do the best with what we have.

I just don't share that mentality as long as the game stays broken... But I'm not going to flame about it, that’s why I don’t talk specifics, it provokes people. I do understand the rule protects the forum.

Wasn't sure if the changes were enough for Protoss, although with the fungal nerf pvz might be balanced again. However pvt is still going to be pretty damn terran favoured, this doesn't fix much about that.

It's 6 and 8 not 10. And not really. You still have chain. Still have bane drops on a static force. Still ave surrounds by real damage dealers. Basically won't change it at all. They just threw T&P a bone so we shut up.
