Since this whole topic degenerated into the usual balance flamefest where every topic ends up if unmoderated it's time for it to clean up. Locking this down for a while. Edit: Overall I think its a good patch and I am glad that HSM has been made more usable. I wonder if Marine Raven will become viable now

that kind of what I'm worried about as a Terran player. It seems like walling off with 2 depots+barracks might be necessary, but that makes with voidray all ins a bit more strong.

This is amazing. The Immortal range upgrade makes me sooooooooooooooooo happy :D
The Blink nerf isn't too bad, the Warp Prism change I don't quite get, and I'm kinda sad they didn't make PDD cost more energy. 
The Ultralisk change is a bit weird though. Ultras are fairly good units but a 15 second decrease in build time? This is a huge buff to the ling/infestor/ultra build imo.
Good changes overall though.

As a Protoss, I'm pretty happy about the hellion and infestor nerfs. Also happy that my warp prisms won't get sniped in two seconds anymore
I agree with the overseer and ultralisk buffs.

It's just to risky to put 300+ gas worth of units in a paper plane. This HP buff will allow for some sick drop micro which should be fun for spectators to watch.

These seem like the best patch notes blizzard has ever come up with. Like almost all of these, don't see why contaminate was increased though. Think that ability was already super underused, but whatever, cheaper overseers! :D
edit: oh yea the ultra build time decrease has been a long time coming. They have needed a buff for ages

Woah. No one has commented on how this changes pvp. They might have just killed what their 4gate fix did. Between the vision change and blink timings... what is this going to do to blink stalks in pvp?
edit: Lol if these had be inputted this week I would say that Idra runs blizzard lol right before mlgs... edit2: disappointed by lack of a ghost change. We're going to need another one but this is a good patch overall.

Seems to unrealistic. I'm guessing only a couple of things will make the real patch from Test.

Fixed an issue where Drone attacks could be more easily dodged than SCV or Probes.

Increase build time of rax could be a start to nerf 1-1-1. Add 5 more sec to scout, and nerf really slightly the timing of a 2 rax.
Really good patch in my eyes, so hurry for it !

5 seconds hardly kills the strategy as a whole, it just takes a little bit of teeth off of it. What it will do is make it less frequent, which is probably a good thing. It will likely be an effective strat in your bag of tricks though.
