Seriously asking that? Foreign powers vie for control all the time, and are highly influential. AIPAC runs most of our Foreign Policy, and Saudi Arabia would like us to attack most of their neighboring enemies (and we almost did). They both have heavy lobbyist organizations, and of course, while we control most of what NATO and the UN does, they also take control from individual Americans as they are Globalist institutions which have tremendous clout and weight in determining American Policy. I am just tired of getting taxed and inflated to death, my liberties eroded, and the country going bankrupt because we are fighting other peoples wars, paying/subsidizing their defense, and having the Government run around the world killing innocent people.

Many people are confused by the fact that the literal title of the document is "Certificate of Live Birth" rather than "Birth Certificate". Hawaii literally does not issue "Birth Certificates," the "Certificate of Live Birth" is the title of their state's birth document... that's just the way their State handles things. Perhaps people who are confused by this should lobby for the Federal government to take over the States' role of issuing proof of their residents' birth, that way there could be one national form?

President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. The birth certificate is right here if you want to take a look. I don't know how old a mother must be to grant natural-born citizenship, but she was 18 according to the document, and I believe that it's sufficient.
