Btw, I'm not trying to take credit away from Bisu, but the map is imbalanced and its foolhardy to deny it. This is still a legitimate win. You don't know what you're talking about. Jaedong's build was exactly the same as he plays on any other map. 3 hatch lair -> 5 hatch hydra -> muta switch to snipe templars. Jaedong doesn't take a quick 4th on any other map before Bisu's push timing. He also didn't cut drones or play less economically up to the first engagement which decided the game.

So jaedong produced mutas when he needed to add evos and lings. Goon/templar then adding zealot/archon + a sair here and there, really really takes advantage of a super early muta tech in 5 hat. Bisu really outplayed jaedong with his initial unit composition. I liked it alot =). I like this analysis

Hey, I haven't responded to OneOther in quite some time. Let's hope this doesn't get ugly. "Okay, Jaedong lost a lot of overlords since his spire was late. This was because of his overpool as opposed to a normal 12 hatch. However, a 12 hatch is suicidal on this map for zergs since the other races can box them in using the choke. "

2. JD made mutas to try to snipe HTs but they got stormed TWICE... so that made them really weak ^-- those two things had nothing to do with map imbalance after those two things, bisu was just ahead and he rode the momentum and played nicely with little to no mistake (except those constant observer snipes)

Once his mutas got so injured + all those goons in the army = no templar sniping => hydra genocide. Brilliant army composition by Bisu though. And he obviously knew how to use the map to his advantage.

That's not saying it would have gone differently on a different map because of course Bisu would have also played differently. It just feels like less of a complete victory to me because of the map. The main reason he lost was the failed templar-snipe. The map just made it so that after that failure, he had no chance.
