Yeah I mean Bisu won a OSL AND beat Jaedong in a random PL match, so we can call him bonjwa.
Oh wait.

Now, definitely not. His gameplay style revolving around mutalisk harassment is way, way more effective vP rather than vT. As players have started to solve the mutalisk harass problem in TvZ, I'd say his ZvP at the moment is better than his ZvT.

My thoughts: - Bisu did outplay Jaedong in the early game, independent of map imbalance - While it was Jaedong's fault to be outplayed by a bit in the early game, Heartbreak ridge certainly makes it much, much harder for a Zerg to pull off a comeback, especially against the greatest PvZ player of all time - Certainly nothing can be CONCLUDED about the relative skill levels of these players, so let's stop trying to! - Even though I'm not a JD fan, there's no question he sets the tone for Zerg players everywhere. I'm somewhat worried that Battle Royal was a curse in disguise, given the amount of ZvZ he played exclusively during the "offseason" inbetween Starleague seasons. As an example, it took him 3 games to beat both Movie and jjonga in GOM. - I don't like Bisu as a player but I have to admit, when he plays at his fullest potential, it makes you wonder how he ever loses. His wins feel effortless. - There's simply nothing like SC played at the absolute highest level, between any combination of Bisu, Jaedong, and Flash, as well as other cases (such as Flash-Leta the other night). It's amazing. And finally, here's hoping that Bisu, JD, and Flash all work themselves into top form for the upcoming MSL and OSL. With Flash playing better lately there's actually a decent chance all three will be playing near their peaks and we'll all be treated to the most intense, high level BoX ever played between some combination of these players in the upcoming Starleague. One can hope!

JD almost came back with great micro when defending his fourth, but the defiler + consume were just 10 seconds too late. Don't think the defiler/consume woulda mattered much. Bisu's fuckton of +3 zeals/archon were storming in, and after Jaedong lost all his lurkers, wiping up woulda made it pretty easy for Bisu.

Clearly overpowering. you serious? bisu outplayed jaedong that game, simple and easy. the map played a negligible part and i am saying this is a stork/jangbi fan who hates bisu as much as anyone. dont even wanna start how many titles bisu took away from them The map wasn't "negligible" it played a big part in it. Did Bisu play better? Sure. Is he "overpowering" and "the next bonjwa" like some of the retards in this thread are claiming (no offense JWD, your comment just happened to be the one I saw when I posted)? No. ok i understand where you are coming from, but i still fail to see how the map played a big part of the game. jaedong made mutas to snipe templars, failed to do that very well, and got rolled afterwards. why does it matter how hard the fourth base is to defend? no maps allow zerg to defend four bases from one location. Hey, I haven't responded to OneOther in quite some time. Let's hope this doesn't get ugly. "Okay, Jaedong lost a lot of overlords since his spire was late. This was because of his overpool as opposed to a normal 12 hatch. However, a 12 hatch is suicidal on this map for zergs since the other races can box them in using the choke. " um i would argue that overpool/9 pool build is more common than the 12 hatch build now, as it forces the protoss to go forge/cut probes before getting the nexus. that's certainly not a map factor and the reason why jaedong lost I don't know. Is overpool better economically in ZvP? Well, it is a map factor since the narrow choke is easily exploitable for other races. See Shine vs Lomo. 12 hatch is obviously better economically, but it leaves the toss in even better economic position. think of it that way. sorry, but this is not even worth arguing about. that is not why jaedong lost. well anyway i gotta go watch a movie ggs tonight

http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/maps/199_Heartbreak_Ridge/games/ZvP It looks like the better player won almoste very time ^^ Seems to me like toss has a hard to take 3rd, Zerg has a hard to old 4th. But what do I know... Bisu just outplayed Jaedong in this game: 1. got second probe scout in which led to 2. + goon hits = killing 1 ovie in his base faster + 1 in jaedong's main faster than normal 3. not losing HTs to mutas + getting good storms off 4. avoiding too many obs snipes etc.
