But what do I know... Bisu just outplayed Jaedong in this game: 1. got second probe scout in which led to 2. + goon hits = killing 1 ovie in his base faster + 1 in jaedong's main faster than normal 3. not losing HTs to mutas + getting good storms off 4. avoiding too many obs snipes etc. Really though, HBR favors protoss and it's pointless to deny this. I don't see how winning on a map that favors you takes anything away from how you played.

Two years ago if you said that, I would have agreed with you. Now, definitely not. His gameplay style revolving around mutalisk harassment is way, way more effective vP rather than vT. As players have started to solve the mutalisk harass problem in TvZ, I'd say his ZvP at the moment is better than his ZvT.
Jaedong has looked somewhat vulnerable (by his lofty standards) in both ZvP and ZvT lately. You're right that his gameplay style is way more effective against Protoss than it is against Terran. But against Bisu ... it's just so hard to be at more places at once than he is because his multitasking is also so good. When was the last time somebody looked like they were all over the map and Bisu had trouble catching up? Honestly, it might have been the Savior game in MSL, a very long time ago.

I already said Bisu played better today, I'm just curious as to whether the choke affects the balance of the map. Can't we have discussions? ah yeah, i didn't mean that in a negative way. for one i cant believe i am defending bisu lol. goodnight everyone

by.hero. Watch the OSL Ro36 games and the Proleague game on Tau Cross. by.hero's style just makes Bisu work overtime which ultimately led to his defeat.

BISU: TOO STRONG Because he could win on a quite imbalanced map? Clearly overpowering. oh come on man, let me enjoy this one moment of glory with best sucking ass lately and my fantasy PL team blowing a nut tonight, Bisu and T1 are all I have left I guess since there's nothing else to separate them, Bisu will take #1 PR. But it feels so gipped.
You never know if Effort could come out of nowhere and steal it from both of them. I know he'd probably lose to either of them in a 1v1, but he's 22-3 in his last 25 games

You guys all have forgotten to mention how easy it is to secure the 3rd base for both players however that helping out the P most. I'm for both of these guys but I don't like the map all that much.

hbr is imba towards z but that played no part in bisu's win

I totally agree.

Good job by Bisu, definitely the better player in that match up.
But to be courteous to the JD fans, Bisu fans, try to think if the ace was on God's Garden and Jaedong had won. It wouldn't decide anything. I think the only way to decide who's truly better is in the upper echelons of a starleague on fairly balanced maps.

Wow, it was one game no need to get this excited. Well, I guess that Bisu doesn't beat Jaedong very much.
Bisu almost made no mistakes playing near perfect, jaedong fucked up with his mutas (mabye under pressure?), let a second probe in, and just overall played pretty bad compared to his usual. Bisu played very well and kept riding on his advantage and won. I think having lots of goon/templar is good on this map.
I'm kinda sad that Jaedong lost , but EVERYTHING was in bisus favor this game, like even the map rofl. Kinda hoping Jaedong doesn't fail like this in his next game vs bisu :/

from the rants of a jaedong fan: jaedong tradition is lose to them in proleague before proceeding to stomp on them later? i'll eat my words later when is iccup going to get back up?

Jaedong's real ability is in his series play IMO.
Last time he played Bisu in proleague, he lost similarly, through a one mistake beatdown. Then beat Bisu in the special game series later that night. (also inconclusive)

At least since JD lost in the PL, he'll win their next Bo5! =] This was the most fun series I've experienced that Oz lost, tbh.

I agree with this. We've seen Jaedong drop the first game of a series every time and then end up winning. I don't want to read too much into one game between these two players who never give up an advantage once they have one, but that doesn't mean I'm any happier about it =(

What I found funny was that the first 4 sets went just as planned even with all the small details, like backho's face, fantasy failing to perform when you need him to etc.
