Flash Flash Flash! 4 ASLs and even more impressive; he has won those ASLs in every matchup: TvT (vs Sea) TvZ (vs Shine, Hero) TvP (vs Snow). And he has won every premier BW tournament (ASL, MSL, OSL, WCG, GOMTV Classic's). I'm really thrilled he won. He came to win. He prepeared to win. I think Flash will be back for more, at some point. He is just that good. It doesn't matter if he is away, if he comes back he will dominate again. The games from the finals, and his run through this tournament. He is just that step above the rest. His TvP is a monster. So many times during the finals I thought Flash could just as well have typed the infamous "this is many tank yes?" His army + upgrades.. I think Snow was lacking in upgrades, and he didn't seem interested in upping his play with HT's either... A little strange. Especially when he went for Arbiter tech. All the other games was variants of reaver into carrier or straight carrier-builds. Kinda sad to say.. but Flash had his number from game one, and I think Snow got a bit demoralized as this series unfolded. Losing observers, goons, letting vultures eat all the probes. Anyways, GG's. Flash is forever legend.

The KSL should be a considered a premier BW tournament as well, shouldn't it?
I mean, Flash didn't join any of the seasons did he? But still, that is the one title he "lacks".

Just one, I believe. It was the game vs Light where Flash should've won anyway and it took the most epic comeback of modern BW for Light to win. _That_ was the only game Flash lost.
Watching Flash's dominance over the past 10 years has been incredible. He's such a likeable player too. I remember dismissing him at first because I thought he was just some 15 year old who was only winning games against "real" players because he was cheesing. Then he became the macro god. Then he became god. What an unparalleled talent. We're so lucky Flash decided to play Brood War.

Snow is more of an early to mid game player in PvT, utilizing reavers and various Protoss tricks to gain an advantage then smashing Terran in late game but his actual late game PvT is not that great. From the games I've seen Flash play only Best and sometimes Stork give Flash trouble in late game. As you've seen in the series Flash got into the late game pretty comfortably and was able to crush through.

Is there a vod with English/Korean commentary? I can't find any full vods apart from the one posted in here, would prefer to watch not with another commentator over the top

Subtract the ones he didnt participate in please. Also list the number of finals appearances. That would make the stats very interesting.
EDIT: Forgot about PDPop MSL, everything adjusted accordingly
Even more interesting if you start counting from 2010:
Kespa: EVER OSL (1st) Nate MSL (2nd) Korean Air OSL (2nd) Hana Daetoo Securities MSL (1st) Bigfile MSL (1st) Korean Air OSL Season 2 (1st) (Won WCG 2010 too) PDPop MSL (Ro32) Bacchus OSL (Ro16) ABC Mart MSL (1st) JinAir OSL (Ro8) Tving OSL (Ro4)
ASL: Season 1 (Ro8) Season 2 (1st) Season 3 (1st) Season 4 (1st) Season 5 (Ro8) Season 6 (2nd) Season 8 (1st)
So in his career, that's 10/33 starleague wins, and 13/33 finals. If you include the 4 seasons of GSL & WCG, that's 13/38 wins and 17/38 finals.
From 2010 forward, that's 9/18 starleague wins, and 12/18 finals. If you include WCG, that's 10/19 wins and 13/19 finals. Bacchus OSL 2010 & PDPop MSL 2010 are the only times he didn't advance from the group stages, losing to Kal & Hyuk in OSL and losing to Classic & sSak in MSL. Only players to stop him in series: Jaedong, Effort (x2), Jangbi, Fantasy, Last, Snow. That's a pretty elite list of vT players.

This is missing an MSL early exit before the final MSL he won. Still an incredible list.

He grabbed it like it was his from the beginning. Like ''let's just not waste anymore time'', ''we all know i was to win''.
Not surprisingly the youtube video, is once again, removed, but there is one in afreeca tv site. Typically the grand final match would get copied more often through-out other channels. Such a shame that even the final match got castrated by youtube's policies...

I wouldn't say "comfortably" is particularly accurate for games 2 and 3. On Neo Sylphid Flash was in no position to harm Snow in any way after the early game set back. He focused on denying Snow any chance to finish him off or even doing any more damage. On Tripod Flash did not look in a good position at all, so he had to device a timing attack to snap Snow's neck before things got completely out of control. So I don't think Flash was cruising comfortably into the late game. If anything, I'd say that despite being put in uncomfortable positions Flash managed to do everything correctly in order to make it look like Snow was a level below him.

Wow guys Snow did so much better than Rain
Oh wait he didnt LMAO
Maybe yall finally will give Rain some respect

R.I.P Brood War
These finals were terrible and anti-climactic though. No one is missing much.

the finals were everything i hoped for. seriously, glad i stood up early, watched it and flash dominated the way he did. flash is just this mythical being that cannot be touched.

I'm just stunned that FlaSh only apparent tiny weakness might be against Zergs, he makes TvP looks so easy.
