Who's emotional investment do you mean? Cuz back then if you didn't win the finals of a starleague you just continued playing on your team. Now if you don't win the finals it can potentially cost you your livelihood and you can go flip burgers. There's no safety net like that right now. | ||

I really liked SSL11 and followed it pretty much all the way through, staying up late nights here on the Pacific Coast to watch the games live. Few complaints, other than I think Mind vs Hero would've been a better Finals. It may not be a true 'back in the day' OSL or an MSL, but it's pretty darn good and the best we have right now, and/or will have, unless Bliz re-releases BW in some sort of updated form and all the hypeuuuu truly comes back. Be thankful for what you have.  | ||

Quite an irony considering Bisu does have a "safety net" and is probably the biggest of any of the current expros In addition hes not the face of Kongdoo for nothing and OGN acceded to his request for winXP unlike EffOrt. | ||

Ah sorry about that! I shouldn't doubt the bonjwa passion!  I hope NaDa plays competitively again. Would be great for the scene! BTW, where is Jangbi? Now that Protoss is at the brink of extinction (or so BD claims), we need a new hero from Aiur! | ||

Sure but what's he going to do after he's done with Starcraft? His ~3000 viewers won't feed him for the rest of his life and I don't think he has the personality to get successful like YellOw. Unless he becomes a coach somewhere his flashy esports career will likely be of no use to him. | ||

With Hero and Effort, there are great Zergs, with Mind and Ssak there are great Terrans, but the Protoss bench is looking awfully thin at the top level with Bisu gone for two years to fight Kim Jong Un. | ||
