Ah, CJ Entus. Our hopes have been lifted with last week's match against hite, but can you deliver again?  EffOrt, the ace, and  Movie the OSL finalist have both + Show Spoiler +stepped up their game recently in the individual leagues

It is hard to predict outcome given the new rules but I believe STX will win. CJ is one slumping team these days (except of Movie who is playing well recently).

Doubt CJ has a shot, STX looking too beast right now. Especially if they manage to get Skyhigh vs a non T.

Hwasin is in the OSL tonight too but STX is a deeper team by far. On top of that Effort is almost a guarateed loss against most anyone on STX if they send himm.

Hwasin is more than a decent terran but like movie he probably wont be played tonight (or at least he shouldn't if the coach cares about the player pratice-load as well as if he trusts the other teammates).

How proleague is being run, I think STX is more "deep". CJ is only deep in the sense they have a lot of players who are good at single matchups right now (Effort vP, Movie vZ, Skyhigh vT, etc). STX on the otherhand has a ton of players who are generally more well rounded and less specialized than CJ's team.
I think Skyhigh's woeful TvZ and TvP and Effort's horrible ZvT and ZvZ really hurts their team since you can't predict with 100% certainty who will go on which map.

That opening was beautiful. If you saw the OSL group game with hero/baby/Jaedong, hero did that exact same build against Baby with much more success with early Lurkers. However, he fucked it up in the end and didn't seal the deal; Jaedong used the same build too but lost lol ._.
This was hero showing that he knows how to follow-up, displaying exemplary ZvT. Skyhigh tried a lot of sneaky tactics like drops/side attacks/etc. which, though picking off some small forces here and there, was unable to do any real damage as hero had great defense at all his expansions. In the end, his macro just took over and Skyhigh got rolled.
As a longtime by.hero fan who always see him get rolled by stupid shit, this was ridiculously orgasmic :3
hero on main and Skyhigh on anti doesn't hurt my enthusiasm either =P

In ZvT, what's better for a zerg than:
1) Never losing any expos (one was delayed while morphing)
2) Clutch swarm timing
3) huge vessel snipes and sweeps
4) push-killing plagues
5) well placed swarms
I thought it was actually pretty clean. Speaking for hero. SkyHigh's TvZ is as underwhelming as it ever was, though.

Kwanro aside, the stronger the Zerg player, the greedier they seem to play in ZvZ. I assume they overestimate their defense.

Things returning to normal now, after Movie holds his ramp, and Shuttle eliminates the offending proxy.
Movie with a tech advantage, but only now just warping in his gateways. Shuttle with the army edge, and expanding. DTs out for Movie, Shuttle spots them, the observers will be a little late.
But not by much, Movie tries to get into Shuttle's base, and fails, an observer spots the dt and it falls.

Whether or not Movie practiced that endlessly is not really the point, it was a really well designed cheese, especially the gateways walling in the pylon, and only Shuttle's two gate starsense saved him there.
Movie's follow-up to that cheese being denied was what the real issue was, if we're talking about build incoherence, but it was clear that he lost more than Shuttle did in having that defended.

Shuttle could pull probes to help, and his gateway timing was naturally a little faster, and so he was always either even or ahead on zealots. Movie's micro was fine.

Polaris Rhapsody appears to be a bad bad map for zerg. Obviously if CJ had known that Shuttle was the STX choice, they would absolutely not have thrown a protoss, but I think they were expecting either Hwasin or Bogus.

Effort made lings, and it looked like he was going to win, but then Calm made more lings and won.
All jokes aside, that was actually a pretty entertaining zvz, and as an stx fan i was definitely on the edge of my seat the whole time.

That was a special case of 9pool anyway with Effort going 9p no gas and then expanding.
With speed, it would have been a different story as no speed zerglings can still be held off pretty well with just drone/ling alone plus Calm had the advantage of earlier second hat which gave him more larva.. Plus, Calm catches Effort droning too hard at the end and Effort paid the price.
Still, really nice game though and awesome to watch.

both had "perfect" vision of each other's mains. I think the advantage came from calm having more lings from the start of the stalemate but kept them in the middle, and so when effort saw calm start making more drones he though he could, not realizing that calm had so many more lings. Also I think he was at such a disadvantage at that point that he really had no choice but to gamble and hope calm wouldnt attack.

Before Effort entered his nat he micro'ed 4 lings right between 2 groups of Efforts lings. That had nothing to do with speed or no speed.

No one is trying to claim that Calm didn't lose a single ling he didn't have to. What everyone with a pair of eyes is saying however, is that given the situation, and even after losing the aforementioned 4 zerglings, he was still not overwhelmed and hence displayed amazing defense.
If Calm had such terrible defense, he wouldn't have won.

Their B-team already showed countless times that they can play at least at A-class level.

Yeah, if he had tried to move them back(this way). But he could have just waited for a chance to surround Efforts lings or move the long way...or distract some of Efforts lings. Every other decision would definitely have been better.

You don't really need the links provided seeing as it's pretty easy to navigate to the vods yourself. Go to wfbrood.com and click on either MSL, OSL or SPL depending on which league the vods you wanna were played in and it'll display a list of recently uploaded vods from that league.
In my experience they get vods up within an hour of the games, sometimes less. Only drawback is that tudou (the video-hosting website the vods are on) can be painfully slow for foreigners.
