Seriously i can't stress enough how mind blowing that last game was really good . It looked like shine didn't bother much moving his drones away from storms .

I just woke up to see sKyHigh fail hard, and for what I've read, he has played really bad. I don't know what the hell is going on with him.
And Shine.... damn it, I still remember his first PL game against Iris, how hard he failed... and now he is raping everyone left and right. Dayumn!

Sad that violet didnt win but kudos to shine for figuring out a solution to the old "last stand protoss" problem and managing to pull it off.

GG feel sorry for Violet he played really well but as already mention he did some mistakes. I like the idea of DA i hope more P find a usefull way to use it. And Shine as i mention before is really on fire he is like 21-3 or something.

Indeed. The DA really helped Violet a lot. I think it should definitely become standard in PvZ.

eSTRO is only team that doesn't have any spots to MSL RO32 so far.
Oz and eSTRO are still missing qualified players from Survivor tournament. eSTRO has 2 players left to get spots, Oz none. So Jaedong is only player from Oz team.

Also the queen , when protoss turtles and makes reaver / Archon and templars it's really useful if you ask me .

That's only from one perspective of the game though. While Violet's play and storms were awesome, his decision making and overall game plan in the endgame was ridiculous. His gameplan was to outlast his opponent but ended up going bankrupt himself. He just sat back defending his expansions and drone harassing half the game but didn't think to even save enough minerals to build the last key nexus to make his plan work, instead he through his last minerals away on a handful of zealots(not even leaving enough for scarabs for his reavers) for a final push that didn't even kill half Shine's army. With as big of an advantage he had after all that drone harass him losing the way he did was horrible

just reminded me, the MST games made up for the shitty PL games earlier today.

I don't know when Maelstorm finished but it' s a shame Violet got storm so late...
What really put Shine in the lead was the second Muta switch where he managed to kill 3 HT and kill all Violet's probes being transfered to base 4.
Violet tried nice catch up with great storm drops but really messed up in the middle against lurkers (losing obs and how many zealots did he lose under the 3h expansion for absolutely nothing...)
Shine did a very nice switch to queens which got him the game.
PvZ imba has nothing to do in this game !

I think one of the biggest reasons Violet pulled off so much brutal harass was because he was being stupid and letting himself get starved out... yeah it was kickass and gettin that many drone kills is memorable to say in the least, but look what it cost him? He didn't focus on breaking out and doing some actual damage and putting some pressure on Shine to produce more units... just killed the drones again and again then left. If he had been able to pull off both at the same time... kill the econ then push out with reavers/ templar and better obs micro he'd be going through I think... there were lots of times that Shine was using the majority of his larvae to drone pump and wouldn't have been able to replace his units if Violet kills them

Well, so far four of six dragons have gone through (or been there already) - what about the other two? Only time will tell. I like Jangbi's chances better than free's, but I like free's recent play a LOT better.

Shine is 20-4 since his losing streak, and he's beaten some very good players. We'll see where he ends up, but this is definitely a surprise.

man i'm still speechless. i mean, sniping templars with queens is just okay. the protoss has a lot of templars so i snipe them using spawn broodlings
but he used a lot of parasites to gain vision before and the best part, ensnared the archons/shuttles to snipe the rvr. this is just so awesome, to come up with a plan like this in an important game

are you retarded? zergs who can beat good protosses are honestly a dime a dozen these days, so for one zerg to beat 2 good protosses (even if one is bisu), it doesnt mean they are truly amazing, and certainly doesnt mean they are better than jaedong. also, hes better than jaedong in ZvT huh? yep youre right except for the part where
1. jaedong can go toe-to-toe with supreme TvZers like flash, hwasin, firebathero, etc. and win regularly
2. shine just lost in a non-close game to light (who boasts at least a good, solid TvZ)
so no, shine is not better than jaedong. youre just insane lol
