i beat him without big problems, and im bad myself, so i dont think hes that good, and his stats are too bad to be a pro.
He told me to post a replay here and romad would know who he was. So here we go, the two better games we played (ones where I lasted over 15 minutes rofl)

Sorry, it's not me (I'm Chishiki[BoB]). But I've also been wondering who he is. I once saw him in the Channel asking for games and I talked to him in Dutch, but he didn't reply. So that means he didn't feel like responding or he's not Dutch, but maybe someone can find out who he is, since I'm curious as well
He did that last season too, he was C+ with a pretty bad rec while alot of far worse players were B with a 70% winrate but you could tell what the difference was by looking at their matchlists.

I checked all the losses vs koreans, and 19 of them have previous season stats of B+ or better. about 6-7 have A- highs, and 1 was A+ 2 seasons in a row. Quite a difficult run so far indeed lol.
yeh watching Artosis on the stream vs Ret, its clear Artosis has learned a shitload in korea.. I'd say he could probably be top 3 terran from USA.
Maybe hes just not a consistant player, which explains the record.. Not everyone can go 50-1, even if they are really good.. some people just take people lightly on ladder and end up getting stupid losses.

Artosis beat ret in a series there 2-1, in the game I'm guessing you saw ret was fighting an uphill battle though cause he was behind since artosis managed to do a sunken break early game
i have see a few korean A- and A last season ( pretty high win rate ) and they are right now 14-10 and 25-16 . that just show how hard to ladder can be if you play vs korean .

Also, why isn't disc = loss? I have to report people who disc manually? Or does it just take time for the game to show up...

yeh, I know exactly how you feel. When my connection was shaky afew months ago (due to 7 roommates on one router) it would be slightly choppy the first 30 seconds then fine after that, and 90% of people would leave before it evened out =/

if theres no lag why would you change it to high?
Think about it rull, rull hard. He says "high is fine, no lag." That means...if I set it to high, there will be no lag, so it's fine. Then his opponent leaves because LAN on high latency is not acceptable.

Just took a little time, I got the win without doing anything (I guess he was still "connected" to the server despite having dropped).

No idea who this was, but I know he hit A once then reset and hit A again. On his second time through I was one of his 102 victims and he played toss in that game. I remember he had crazy stats with all races so I'm going to assume it was a shared account at some point during last season.

Ya but only 'Super Admins' have similar powers and responsibility as the admins to here or on other sites, and they have to be proven. Other 'admins' are confined to their section and just deal with their tasks which is where anyone can apply to become one because it is understaffed as is. Super Admins have their own forum, etc. and you can't just apply to be one.
However yeh I think he might be wrong because the reason he thought it was JD was because of the stats being impressive. Bit silly.
Account might have been given away since hes only 27-10 and 200 apm. All losses are to koreans with relatively good records and in our game his micro felt very good.

A suggestion for this thread. In addition to listing the iccup account and known name, what about adding the person who outed the name as well. I think this would help keep the thread accountable, and also help give recognition to those doing a good job.
It seems like zimp has been doing a good job with names, but how can we actually know? Other than romad and midian, no one really has a lock reputation for identifying names. Including their name in the OP would help people build that reputation.

I compared the replay given earlier in the thread with the v. Shauni reps from the stamina tournament (only ones I had). 890 as Hatches, and 123 for units, and nothing else. Both also spam 1 and 2 pretty frequently compared to 3 in the beginning.

When BaBy first broke onto the scene he also went by the aka By.Sun, so that may be part of the confusion. Team history is something I'd really love to see programmed into TLPD at some time, but for now it's way down on the wish list.

I don't get why they would change the motw system of having a courage map every week when it was working so well before with not any complaints to my knowledge.. If it ain't broke don't fix it? I think more koreans than usual will be playing on brainclan this week..

terrible logic. The whole purpose of motw is too encourage people to play on OTHER maps. Besides it's not like there's only a single motw. So why not make just one of them a courage map? Doesn't seem like it would hurt anything. But it is hurting not having one there.

the huge jump in point loss between B+/A- creates a little time period where you're capable of beating B+ pretty easy but cant get through A- yet so you bounce back and forth not getting many good games at either rank.

The key demographic of high rank icc are playing courage. The majority of A ranks aren't progamers or foreigners with no intention of going to Korea, they're Korean amateurs. By using courage maps it coaxes them into practicing on icc which in turn brings other less skilled players. You don't have to play courage to want the people who do play courage on icc.

Wow thats pretty sick. About his matchlist, yeah he does have short games, but I dont think he is cheesy. I dont think you can go 27-0 with all in strategies. So he must be doing some very strong early build, maybe 9 pool speed, and then back it up with crazy mechanics and gamesense.
Would LOVE to see more of his reps. I'm really curious about people he has these kind of match lists.

Good thing BS will be back, but I got my WCG this weekend, I really thought I could practice on that certain map, now its out and instead I got a map I'll never play on. I'm pretty sure theres plenty of people who are thinking the same. I wouldnt mind if you changed longinus for outsider either.

because the matchlist doesen't get resetted when someone clear the stats. The matchlist stays even if you transfer to another nick as well.

Easy to way to tell if dara21 is FBH's account. Just check his TvP, and if it's a winning percentage, that means it's probably Jangbi or Stork offracing.

If you look through his matchlist, it shows him with alot of losses to both korean and foreign players. Why does it only show 3 losses on his account page? Did he play on that account, then clearstats on it, and played on a different account, and then transferred back to this 1? Confusing.
Either way, he has plenty of losses to different players.
Apparently iccup admin iccup.levi decided to erase everyones stats in ladder A/B and C. They IPBanned him, but if you lost your stats and don't know why, then this is probably the reason.

As astraboy said, ghost was kicked out of iccup cl qualy because his team mate ghost_davor aka iccup.ghost was transfering accounts for his team mates, getting a plus of help to have the best team to play the qualy. Also, I didnt know about d4ndy was in ghost, so that is not the problem. (Even more, I thought that he was in eS) ). Its true that I had to kill the connection to a guy called myfamily (aka d4ndy), along with 3 LGs accounts more in my personal channel, because I needed the channel empty for internal ladder tests. Ive asked to all of them to leave the channel, but they (myfamily, LG)makinon and LG)Bestdark ) were off line, so I kicked out of the channel. Since my bot doesnt work with kick, I kill their connection. About Crucifix said, its true. As always, we were doing investigations of smurfs accounts and when I found something, I went to their channel, talk with their team leader, and after some comprobations, I figured that wasnt a problem there. By prevention, the guy was banned about 2 minutes, to avoid extra problems. (He never knew it, since he wasnt on line in that moment). I dont see any kind of abuse or so there, I was doing my job. Its very sad for me to ban a super admin. They had done a wonderfull job inside iccup, but I can´t forgive any kind of abuse, because if I do with only 1 person, I will have to do it with anyone. When an admin deals with my complaint promptly and correctly I am always make sure I pm him and say thank you and I'm polite to them and I make their jobs easier by telling them what to do. I know the rules they should be following so I explain the situation to them clearly and tell them what the solution is so they can rubber stamp it. And normally that works fine.
Occasionally I'll play a guy 3 times and in the 3rd game he'll disc. I'll do a manual complaint and submit it with all 3 replays and explain the situation clearly in it and tell him which game he disced in, what our ranks were, how many points to change etc and the admin will pm me back that the game is already on my game list and I got points. When I sent him 3 replays and there are 2 games on my game list and I wrote this stuff in the complaint it really shouldn't be that hard.

Common sense exists outside of the english language. Ladder Admins have to check the matchlist anyway when they do the compalint. They will see 2 games and they SHOULD be able to realize 3 games were played and put 2and2 together.

Its quite possible that someone else is playing on all of these accounts now, but they were at one point played by the player listed. Progamers share accounts lots.
