If you scout an overpool or 9pool just make a bunker with the scv making the first barrack, then use that scv to make a CC and follow up with the 9minpush. Since you made a bunker, the suplycounts will be different, but the order in which you build things will be the same. | ||

And another question (I know, I'm annoying  ), would you recommend sending out a slightly earlier scout at low ranks in order to see if the zerg is doing such a build (because if you find him last on Andro scouting at 12 then you generally get there after lings have hatched). | ||

If you dont care so much about the suply count but rahter the order in which you build buildings you can adapt the strat to early scout/10 rax with for example a marinestop production for 5-6 seconds at a certain point or whatever. So yes, i think its good to play safe, specially on low ranks of iccup or if you're playing vs a lesser player. | ||

you are wrong about something. you said that you liked the 9 min push better than artosis' build cuz it was made by flash, and you like flash. well, artosis' build actually IS FLASH's STANDARD BUILD, proved by replays of his play. | ||

Yes its a standard build many pro-gamers use it. 3rax tech 2rax tech is pretty standard, its a matter of choice. First time i saw the 9minpush was with flash thats why i said it! I never said flash invented it or anything like that. care to share the replays? :D | ||

I usually go with a second port in lategame rather than second factory but it depends. Heavy lurkerbuild without hive should be countered with 2 fact not 2 port. Good luck man i gotta go to sleep now! remember that if there is no way you can macro good right now while microing you can always queue 2-3 rines in the barracks in lategame. When you get faster queue 2 rines, and when you get faster than that, have only 1 marines and rather add barracks! G'night! | ||

[trapcard]: Your build is abit close to Artosis build under "The difference between foreigners and koreans". Your opening looks solid but i think the factory is too early. The reason why you add such early academy and having 3 barracks is to be strong in the early midgame and take out zergs 3rd. Your factory should not be done sooner than 55 suply atleast. I sorta disagree with this....I thought 4 rax or even 5 rax before factory is used to harrass his expnasion before lurkers. There's no reason to get the +1 so fast if he wanted a bunch of marines, cuz its not gonna come into affect when he moves out anyways. I actually think that the 3 rax, and factory at 44 is to be able to push out a bit, and force zerg to make sunks, not to kill his 2nd nat. | ||

The build artosis mentioned was not just flash's but every pro terran's standard build awhile ago not anymore. Have you ever thought replays are usually very old. The game yarnc vs flash was played on python 1.1. Python hasnt been played in a league for like a few years. Flash's standard build is not artosis's build anymore. He does the 1 rax double cc adding a 2nd rax before acad. The build he uses are just variations to the one stylish wrote and the one petzergling wrote depending on if he scouted his opponent first time or not 3 rax tech or 2 rax tech. He said he liked the 9 min push build not because it was made by flash but because flash used it so well in the game vs ggplay and it was probably the first time he saw it. Like the first time i saw the fast +1 weap anti muta build was flash vs ggplay on python and i tried to copy it not because i thought flash invented it or something because it was the first time ive seen a build like that and seen it used so well. Boxer's standard build tvz was 2 rax acad fact port years ago. Should I use it now in all my games because it was BOXER's STANDARD BUILD proved by replays of his play? | ||
