I've rebound probe and pylon to T and patroll to Z. My scouting probe (then corsairs or shuttle) goes on 3 and nexus goes on 4. Most importantly pick stuff that fits your left hand well and removes chances of wrist strain and trigger finger and whatnot.
Does anyone know specifically what causes Reavers to just march forward towards their target instead of shooting? I was watching Bisu's stream today and noticed it happen, not sure why that is because I don't play toss but if there isn't a way to prevent it that seems very frustrating. He right clicked a tank, the reaver went forward, it was definitely in range, then just kept going forward and didn't shoot (yes it had scarabs). I'll try to find the timestamp in a minute
Specifically the cause is - 20 year old AI :D Mostly the issue when that bug happens is bad pathfinding (yes scarabs do actually require pathfinding unlike other projectiles.... That is also the reason why scarabs dud that often).
Is there a way to prevent it - No, not really. There are ways to reduce the chances of it happening but there is no guarantee that it will never happen. Again, similar to how scarabs work in general. For example, reavers are better attacking horizontally than they are vertically, meaning that if you attack horizontally chances of that bug where reaver walks to their target happen are way less likely. Another one that you can use is whenever you see that the reaver is in range but is instead going to its target - press hold position. It would force the reaver to do targeting and shooting all over again and it may happen. This way you delay the attack, but thinking about it, would you rather have a delayed shot or no shot at all
Often times in the community it is pointed out the fact that reavers are so glitchy units makes them balanced. Suppose if reavers worked all the time the way they were supposed to without much micro :D That would be quite good. But just the fact that it is such a high-risk high reward unit makes the reaver micro and handling all the reaver glitches a very skill and micro intensive task, which is a reason why you do not see many reavers at lower ranks or if you do they just seem less effective.
Horizontally and vertically are generally the best attack paths for Reavers; the exception is when the target is on a different terrain/level (not something you can always see visually; it's a complicated map thing), or there is a different terrain/level between them, and/or modified bridges, etc. That is why on some positions, Reavers will almost NEVER shoot their Scarab within range, for example when shooting down the bridge to the bottom right 3rd base on Destination.

It's new. Beautiful build, however. I am scared as hell to play ladder the next few days.
Honestly I have never seen a more beautiful build order. That shit had my panties wet. I can't even believe the fact that this guy, FlaSh, was so adament about committing to Valkyries. Valkyries in themselves are very underappreciated units. I can't fathom how the ladder will be the next few weeks but as a Z player I am very afraid. I can't digress enough how beautiful that build is though. If you have a picture of FlaSh doing this build and a picture of, say, the Alps, I will say FlaSh doing the Valkyrie build is more beautiful than the Alps. That's how beautiful I think this build is. It is actually more aesthetic and more appealing than the Alps themselves. I can't explain enough how beautiful I think this build is and for anyone to think otherwise, you are simply mistaken because this build will revolutionize TvZ and shift the meta for years to come.

I think there is potential, like you can use factory to make tanks or vultures (if 2 hatch lurker). Maybe academy should be earlier dunno.
Can someone tell me if this build is significantly different from the old Fantasy build, and how? Haven't had a chance to catch the games and I want to know what to look out for when I go into them.

The big difference here are delayed academy and upgrades, old valconic was something like this
Like rax-factory- academy-port-armory. This is factory-port-armory-ebay-academy. Scanners and stimpack come after first valkyrie, so it is as fast tech to valkyrie as possibly.
Quick 2v2 question: zp vs pp, what is the zp team supposed to do since there is clearly no breaking the ramp of a 2 gate P. Z into mutas asap and P mass goons/obs?
Hi guys I have been lurking TL since old times and due to quarantine I have returned to play BW after 14 years. Does someone know where can I get a Muta micro UMS and a good tutorial of how to Micro?.
Naw I don't think it has anything to do with port forwarding, because it's a problem that arises randomly and fixes itself randomly through doing stuff like creating the game again or relogging to the server. It just seems like b.net is a bit broken right now. This problem manifests differently from how it used to - now, you can often see the game right after it's created, but then the name fades to black for a second or two, then it disappears from the gamelist and can't be found, and if you try to join the game through friend list, it tells you that the password is wrong or something.

How do Zergs like Soma split their mutas so incredibly fast? The only way I know how to split it shift click but even that takes like a second. Soma does it in an INSTANT.
