What is the most optimal way to tell your HTs to use storm? Let's say I have a control group of three HTs and want them all to storm in different places. I know just having them all selected and using storm will have them all storm in the same place. Do you select a single one from the control group, tell it to storm, click your control group again and then select another one?

if you want to go one step further with templar storming, try to keep track before a battle of which templar has how much energy and how they are positionned before the fight for the best results, control them individually to feint or put them where you like, maybe hide on the side etc
(or behind a tree?? :DDD)
positionning matters quite a lot, and not just concave

What's a good pre-muta timing attack for 2 base terran vs zerg? Can this be done doing the standard play rax cc rax acad or is there a faster 2 base variation?

You can go acad before 2nd rax for a faster timing, but it is pretty weak, because you will only have like 6 marines 1 medic and 1 firebat. One sunken plus some lings is enough to defend it.

As a zerg I generally think the pre-muta attacks are kinda bad. They only work if I fuck up, and often, they just outright lose right then because a 10 speedling backstab ends up being super deadly.

It's all good to have as part of your repertoire so you avoid being too predictable, and sometimes against some zergs you can have success / win games through attacking with your first 5 marines without medic support, but stuff like this you should generally only try if you have an scv in their base keeping track of ling production and if you somehow managed to circumvent their scout.

Against a 3 hatch build, pressuring when stim is finished with a few medics is usually safe and worth doing if terran didn't open with fast +1. It doesn't need to do damage; just force some sunkens to be made. T can see how many lings the zerg is making with the scouting SCV, which should live that long at least. Even without the SCV, adding a few firebats makes the attack safe regardless of the number of lings, and blocks backstab attempts.

Oh, actually leaving your base with 12 rine 3 medic or whatever is absolutely worth it, because you do indeed want to force sunkens, try to keep z from getting to hatch 9 mutas right away. But engaging the sunkens normally isn't worth it. And before you even leave your base you should check for possible stabs.

There is this great build where you proxy 4 rax somewhere near the Zerg's natural and you bust before Mutalisks come with just stim and no Medics. It's really funny when it works but when it doesn't you look like an idiot so I guess it's actually not a great build and you shouldn't do it.

I think it's probably better not to proxy, and it's a really strong build for lower levels.

Naw, with this one you don't even expand. You just get the amount of gas necessary for Academy and Stim, and proxy 4 Barracks (with one in your main). They see you move out with a small army and they are like "haha that's sad, he doesn't even have medics," and then you actually bust with 5 times that number.

But yea, Ayumi works.

The pre-muta push (or almost on-muta-time push) with around 12 rines/2-3 medics, apart from forcing 3-4 sunkens and/or more lings to be build, can also put pressure on very early 3rds and keep the mutas occupied. Thus you can delay building the 2nd round of turrets and go for a faster factory, gas, maybe even earlier additional barracks against Zergs who expand quickly.

It won't work if Zerg delays taking his 3rd and goes for strong muta-aggression instead while building enough sunkens/lings to defend his natural (or even ling-backstab), then just retreat, tech quickly and defend until more rines are out/until Zerg's 3rd goes up.

It's not always easy to make out what Zerg is doing, but I see many Terrans who use this 12rine/2-3medic group intentionally as a sort of "sacrifice" to make the most out of. Flash did this a lot at the end of Kespa-era, it was like he could shut down top-zergs with just that little push because he was so great at sniffing out when to do it.

Light was also moving out on certain maps with a group like this and intercepting Mutalisk flocks outside his natural as well, a new development in TvZ at the time. Nowadays you can see Terrans doing this with their +1 5 Rax.

If I don't see an expansion, then you bet I'm going to scout for what you're doing and make sunkens. Usually I expect 1 tank + M&M so they will be a little spread, but still.

I'm watching Rain's stream and just noticed he selected 5+ different gateways 1 by 1 without clicking on them. How did he do that? Can't imagine he hotkeyed them.

He must have hotkeyed them, that's the only way. Personally I have 4-0 hotkeyed as gateways when I play P.

Having 5 separate gateways hotkeyed is fairly common. More than that and it's normally much better to use location keys, but mid game pvz I will be controlling my units on 1-2, have my screen focused on my units constantly, while going 3z4z5z6d7d8t or whatever.
