if u manage to lift the cc slightly before the queen goes in, the queen first will go out again and then go in again to start infesting it. (but im not sure about the exact lift timing) if u manage to repair the cc over 749 hp while the queen is busy infesting it. it wont be infested.

I can expand right away (with my 2 gate goon robo) and be safe against the DTs with an obs out in time, but if he goes speedlot I would die taking the base at that time (If he just made 3 more gates and all-ined me) So I'm curious when would the best time be to expand in this situation (Obviously I am entierly safe after my reaver is out, but what would be the right time?) This never occured to be prior to writting this post should I just hold the ramp if he speedlot all ins me and cancel my Nexus if he does and not even bother holding the natural area. I mean I saw a citadel it's certainly not reaver so I'm in no danger of getting contained. What do you guys think?

I don't remember the nick name.

I mean I saw a citadel it's certainly not reaver so I'm in no danger of getting contained. What do you guys think? If you 2 gate goon before robo vs someone who gets a cit on 1 gate, you can pressure their ramp with your 2 gate of goons to get more intel. On maps like Jade or HBR you can even kill them with goon micro if they're trying to go speedlots, since you can start kiting them before they have speed or a critical mass of zealots. If they got goon range and goons and are thus safe against your 2 gate goon, you can try expanding on your obs while leaving a probe near their base. If it sees high zealot count moving out, just cut probes/goons and throw up a simcity PvZ style. I've found holding the ramp vs speedlot tends to work great. I mixup speedlots semi-often in PvP and whenever a guy gets robo and holds their ramp, they take no damage and proceed to have a significant probe/tech/scouting/harass lead against me whereas I just have a bunch of dinky zealots and perhaps a slightly faster expo. As defender be sure to exploit the threat of your reaver and the scouting information of your obs to keep him running in circles. I mainly have experience with some pretty allin builds of 1 base speedlot at a really low level, where its success is predicated on the enemy reacting incorrectly, so don't take my word for it; experiment yourself.
