Hence the previous addition.- Destroying the pylons in an area causes all cannons and shield batteries in that area to be destroyed. - Zeratul has 100/100 hp/shield and you get 4 of them with the bonus, now. | ||

So Jimmy aka JohnnyChrist aka JesusCrispies aka bloody GENIUS just came up with a great idea: Jimmy says (8:54 PM): hey Jimmy says (8:54 PM): what if sometime down the road Jimmy says (8:54 PM): there was a 2v2 vefrsion of it? Jimmy says (8:55 PM): like a 2v2 + 2 microers per team :O Holy. Shit. My mind just exploded. Okay, picture this: we'd have to play on a larger map, I imagine. So that means we'd have to live with the minimap being smaller. But otherwise, it shouldn't be TOO hard to modify the existing 6-player TMM. IntoTheWow was inspired to make the terrain design for the current TMM AG map, and SuperiorWofl was inspired to decorate it. I'd need similar inspiration in you guys to make Team Micro 2v2 Melee for 8 players a reality. Any one getting any ideas? | ||

Example: I did this in an actual game: I waited until level 3, then used both of my bonuses for Next Tier: - started with 2 lings @ tier 2 - used 1st bonus to get 2 lings @ tier 3 - went down to tier 2 (4 lings) - used 2nd bonus to get 4 lings @ tier 3 - went down to tier 2 (8 lings) - got an army of 10 gols and 18 siege tanks while everyone was still at levels 2-3 - could have potentially gone to tier 1 and gotten 64 hydras Now just imagine how powerful you'd be if you saved up 2 or even 3 bonuses until you reached level 4. Actually, don't imagine: calculate! - start with 3 lings @ tier 2 - use 1st bonus to get 3 lings @ tier 3 - drop to tier 2 (6 lings) - use 2nd bonus to get 6 lings @ tier 3 - drop to tier 2 (12 lings) - use 3rd bonus to get 12 lings @ tier 3 - 36 carriers, anyone? Or 36 battlecruisers? Or 60 scouts? (that's 180 psi worth of scouts) - not to mention if you drop down..... So as you can see, I definitely need to rethink how this bonus works..... | ||

Now it will move up to 3 selectors at tier 2 to tier 3, or up to 6 selectors at tier 1 to tier 2. Or any combination, e.g. move 1 up from tier 2 and move 4 up from tier 1, so that the total # of selectors moved is equivalent to 6 selectors at tier 1, at most. This prevents your # of selectors from increasing exponentially with each use of the bonus.
