theres way less people interested in FFA/hunters game than 1v1 especially when all these players invited over are 1v1 competitive players.

As sad as it is for me to say this, I'm not positive on that on western audiences...

A lot of RTS fans actually hate what esports and the sole focus on 1v1s has done to the genre.
It’s no doubt thats why bw still is a popular game, and its what most of us here on tl wants to see, but ffs its one blizzcon.
There is a lot of other 1v1 shit going on in korea now, with great english casters and all.

Let's assume all you are saying is true for a second. Is 2v2, 3v3 and FFA this one time taking away from the 1v1 scene?
I am pretty sure I've seen all of the BW players in several previous ASLs and CMSL and KCM Race Survival...
AND they have personal streams too...

Indeed I remember watching those and they were quite fun and interesting and weird to see compared to 1v1s.

I hope you are right! Sadly it's harder to gather many ppl for a game but it's always very fun!

All of this talk is deferring to the real issue at hand here which is Blizzard should've invested the money to set up this event into actually maintaining and developing BW to normal standards.
