top 4 ladder getting ro16 seed is a great choice, on the other hand. Love it. Agree with both points. But unfortunately as Mr Zzzero said on stream it had to be done because of time constraints.  TOP 4 ladder is amazing, I'd keep this (or similar) functionality in the coming seasons as well.  time constraints.. 1)I think at least the losers match should be bo3.. I mean getting into the League just to bomb out in two games due to some kind of rush sucks balls. 2)but whatever.. will enjoy the games and the legendary league nonetheless, obviously

hopefully will be back to the mixed (3 bo1 / 2 bo3) next season

I don't want to sound like a party pooper or a nitpicker, but wow.. I actually hate the changes on Blade Runner, Demonio Azul and Gold Rush..
looks kinda bad because you've stripped the maps of their iconic features (snowy mains, demonic face in the middle and a giant skull in the middle respectivley)

Why not give participants the option to either play the new ladder or hold on their current score? Inactive gosus can knock out 40 games and S rank in the time remaining if he planned to. People like me with less time to ladder (work/kids/other commitments) and already got their account ready to enter can elect to hold on their current MMR. At the end merge the lists and take the top 28.
I'm not sure who doing that would hurt. Anyone who spent the past few weeks grinding for BSL and doesn't have a good MMR already isn't going to be kept out by the ladder reset, they're going to be kept out because after weeks of grinding they didn't have a good MMR. Anyone who planned to blitz the ladder in the last few days still can.
People currently on 2100 MMR after 100 games will probably say that had it not been for the reset they totally would have gotten 2350 by Sunday but I'm not sure I believe them. Either way, they have the option to prove themselves in the next 5 days.

For me its 2 options - Entering all players by current MMR, or extra time and all players will need to play again. No between. Of course now will be harder to get 2350mmr because at opening season playing at 2100/2200 mmr you will get much more players who really are 2400++ than in the end of season, but after all its not me who is deciding so i stay patient
