Here's what happened during my game against him.
Probably some people will argue that "he got lucky to do this build opening", but in high level games, this stuff doesn't even exist and taking a huge risk(1/3 chance)
Center proxy 7 Pylon 7 Gateway does exist, but opponent's natural 6 Pylon 6 Gateway is just lol...

I played vs this guy couple times, let me try to find those games to see if he did something weird vs me.
Actually we need a normal working reporting system, i'm tired of losing a bunch of games against SCVstuck rush lol

old system: lobby games, cheater will get be ostracized and avoided pretty quickly, community admins will ban him swiftly too.
new system: forced to play against hacker in matchmaking system. non existent anticheat, blizzard extremely lackadaisical and slow in banning them.
if im a hacker i would love bw rm

And this is valid for anything that is Blizzard centric and not community based 
I hate Blizzard for centralizing all their efforts and leaving everything on its own. And because there is no way for the community to get involved we have nothing to do except whining and cursing blizzard for their approach that inevitably will fuck us over :/

To be honest, I've done similar things blindly on 3 player maps when I feel like cheesing because it's 50/50.
But you're obviously playing against a different level of player AND on a 4 player map.

Lmaooo we’ll see how long this goes on for before blizzard does anything. Don’t count on anything being fixed quickly or correctly at this point though.

I found it perplexing when Scan reported a hack last time and some people thought it's “just a custom game problem“. No ofc it's not! People create cheats with ladder in mind!

I know this wouldn't fix this stuff for everyone, but I still don't understand why they didn't turn Fish into the offical Battle.net Korea gateway and let them continue to operate like they did before RM. They'd be very quick to ban hackers. Hell they could have reached out to the ShieldBattery team and let them operate the EU/US gateways.

Oh, people still mention this stuff referring to an irrelevant/confusing term called map hack ?
As I've stated before the CoachAI can do this on 1.16.
Buy why not provide some useful info to Blizzard/the community instead ?

In theory, it's possible to counter map hack in RTS by making the information that's in the fog of war only available to the server? xD but it could also come with some problems (??)
generally admins covering reports works just fine afaik, but usually blizzard doesn't do it. Blizzard has a habit of *saying* they take cheating seriously blabla but not take action, just image management^^

Sad seeing players with this high level (if he can compete with Scan and reach top 20 on ladder but of course via maphacking which still a thing because BW is APM/mechanically demanding game) wasting their talent on this bullshit. They need to be traited as same as they matchfixed: they just stole pros time and not against lying.
Ah, I miss Fish soOOOOO much. It even magically allowed to use 1.16.1 and RM at the same time before shut down... Now we only got 3-4 devs left on Blizz who gonna push 1 patch per half year.

using a third party tool to see through fog of war is the definition of a maphack which coincidentally is literally what you say your CoachAI does, the only good thing about it is that it only works with 1.16.

I mean they are showing that they aren't willing/capable of actually dealing with stuff. Taking forever to release features (2v2 Matchmaking) is one thing, but if you aren't able to ban hackers asap, maybe you shouldn't be in control of servers period.

it is the same situation that led to creation of PGTour and TheAbyss etc
it's probably much better if the servers are publicly listed without having to search for them though... especially outside korea where you can't count on talking to other players irl to name whatever server you're playing on etc
personally i think i'm giving up and moving on overall (even from blizzard games lol) but wish bw had its nice space it deserves it ofc

Fish were actually awful. The antihack they used is basically malware.
Scan, might be an idea to tweet this at the developers (Matt Sherman and Grant) or atleast post it on the Blizzard Forums. I'm fairly certain they'd check TL as well but it's easier to get to them that way.

Today i had to face against maphacker. He's ID is c5xman - he was 1:0 during game vs me.
zvt.
Terran without scan, any scouting, and few bunkers on the time. For me it's definitely smells like maphack.

Looks like he changed ID to cnt2 after game vs me. Becouse i was matched once again with same build maphacker.

Had same thing happen to me, proxy gate in my natural. Maybe a year ago I played someone that used maphack blatantly. I wasn't able to report these guys cuz they had less than 5 games played on ladder and couldn't find them.

Honestly I have done this before when I was high as shit just fucking around to take a huge gamble and it didn't work, but it is all to obvious this was pre meditated and his scouting paterns also made it obvious. One could say that it was a lucky gamble, but at such a high level game Scan plays in, and him being 2.5-2.6k, yea no.

Now that blizzard actualy confirms making huge efforts to fight off hackers ref. ( Recent forum post in battle net ) I hope situation will get better. Before recent post I wasnt even aware bw remastered hacking is a thing. Now makes me sad how some of my games could be lost to a hacker, when im trying so hard to win a game.
To add to the game and situation the most akward thing for me is you can never tell if someone is hacking for sure. It;s hard to confirm and the risk of false accusations always kept me from making judgements early.Even in this situation scan presented I think there could be explenation that doesn't include maphack. What could it be? Example when map is circuit breaker in last bisu vod he mentioned the map is currently bugged on ladder and in ceratin matchups the spawns are fixed in every game horizontaly i think, so you can always knew where is your opponent. Don't think tis true for FS tho.

It was actually true for FS a couple of seasons ago, temporarily, if I recall correctly. Would be somewhat of a relief if true.
