Even the live audience left once the BW part was over. Also games were very very bad as players were forced to switch games each week. Looking at the participants of the ASL qualifier, I honestly think you could get 8 teams with like 5-8 known ex-pros + some amateurs going. The player base is there. You'd obviously need to allow players to stream, maybe even set it up like an actual day job where they practice at the house from 9 to 5 or 9 to 8 and still live at home.

Team leagues always had a fun dynamics, and seeing team mates and coaches look and respond to the game unfolding was fun.

Actually, the Korean people feel this way (all of them)." It's always delivered with such conviction and certitude. I'm skeptical about the positive news here as well, but this trend is odd to me. You'd think if they weren't trolls who wanted to stir up drama, they would be advocating skepticism in the face of PR moves instead of bluntly telling people, "I actually know what's REALLY going on, stop getting hopeful over this, be miserable, leave it alone." I'm all for a minimum number of posts you need to have in order to be able to post here. Too many trolls around these days

The possibility of reopening the league due to the announcement of Starcraft: Remastered "Reestablishment unavoidable if popularity rises from a high number of fans supporting" "Not really any discussions, but watching carefully for the future business strategies of Blizzard" With Blizzard having announced the release of Starcraft: Remastered, it looks as though the wireless service providers running professional teams are starting to watch over things for the reestablishment of the Brood War team. A few years ago, with the end of the Brood War leagus, teams were disbanded. However, it seems quite possible that leagues will be reopened with the release of Starcraft: Remastered. According to the information from some related businesses, Michael Morhaime has held a conference to reporters in Seoul to notify that Starcraft: Remastered will be released. It was said that Starcraft, he game that has captured many Korean users upon its release in 1998, will be released this summer in Ultra-High Definition. And so, numerous gamers, as well as the teams who had participated in Brood War are stirring. All Starcraft teams were disbanded with the end of the Brood War leagues, but with the release of Starcraft: Remastered, it is likely that the leagues will be reopened, and thus, Brood War professional team reestablishment is inevitable. Especially, SKT and KT, who had led major corporations into establishing professional game teams, are currently running League of Legends teams, but they are now observing the situation carefully for the reopening of Brood War leagues. Related businesses are also watching cautiously, sensitive to their choice. It is because among the corporations running professional game teams, SKT and KT had had played a pivotal role in vitalizing the eSports market, and so their actions might lead other teams into acting. It is generally accepted among the the people in related businesses that while SKT and KT are not currently discussing for the reestablishment, they will do so whenever possible if Brood War leagues are reopened. A person concerned has said, "The release of Starcraft: Remastered seems to be Blizzard's tactics to raise the popularity of Brood War, by giving a reason to reopen the leagues. Already, some PC-bangs are holding small leagues for amateurs. Consumers are excited for the release of Starcraft: Remastered." He has continued to say, "If official leagues are reopened for progamers, they will have no reason to deny the reestablishment of professional teams, who have loyal fans. Depending on the strategy of Blizzard, there will be some changes in the running plans of wireless service providing corporations." Here's a very rough translation of the article. If any of you have questions about its content, I'll be glad to answer. The original meaning might have been terribly distorted in the translation...
