So they're delaying the patch while they work on issues discovered in the PTR. Nice to see they want it as polished as possible before it launches. But damn, I was so anxious to play today. I have the PTR but being in Toronto the lag makes the game unplayable.

They did say they plan to have a new iteration out soon. I assume they'll continue to pump out fixes on PTR until most of the bugs are squashed and most people are fairly happy. At least, if they're smart this is the route they'll take. No use rushing out a buggy update. We've been waiting a long time, we can wait a little longer to get it right.

amusing how they want to cap it at 200 fps. Not that it matters, but that is really high for star1

well, but none of us dinosaurs playin broodwar uses twitter.
so that poll is irrelevant.

anyway, they should change something in the new ui regardless. when you look for games, you should still stay in the channel until you actually join a game.

i dont mind a new UI,but please not that copy paste they put -_-,also i liked alot this feature Winter listed of invite to game,this is something we need badly :D

I'd love a more modern interface, it just needs to have at least the same functionality as classic.Personally I'd love to see the option to be in multiple chat channels at the same time.Say a max of five.A tab for each channel would be great.

How about an option that lets you set your default chat channel when you first log in? Basic stuff that should really be on blizzards radar.

I understand wanting to release it as polished as possible but it really makes me question releasing PTR only a day before the announced patch release date. If they knew they would delay the patch based on PTR feedback why didn't they either release the PTR last week or just say the patch would be next week?

huhu yes 1 day of test seems eehhh just too short? weird chat channel is it as convenient to use? is there as much space for text? testing later
I think war3 bnet interface is great except delay between screens (too long animations though they look nice^^) and max length of text in main area (will delete past chat after too few lines but the visible area is large enough at a "normal" resolution), nice icons, aspect, etc
tbh it looks quite fine just icons i'm curious about^^ and profile area. They looked kinda nice, the original icons

I think maybe the obs information takes too much space on the screen? but if just toggle. . . does it feel odd looking at a chart that hides most of the screen but not really? lol is this one nitpicking?^^ maybe text can hardly be smaller in this res??

Alright, Well despite my best efforts, I am unable to play the PTR.

I'm running a linux machine, can't get it running through wine, can't get it running through an XP VM, 7 VM, or 10 VM. Like, the fuck? Never had this much trouble running a game before, especially when 1.16 runs fine through wine.
