So the cosmetic changes to the new b.net don't really matter to me. But functionally there are quite a few problems with the new interface.
1. Creating or Joining a game wipes your channel chat window and prevents whispers from being sent to you. 2. There is no way to see who in the lobby already has the map. It is impossible to tell who has not started to dl vs who already has the map. I believe native bnet didn't have this function, but the launchers made this possible by putting a 100 next to players with completed downloads. 3. You cannot change position within a team in a game lobby. For UMS games where each slot is a different role, you have to play some retarded hopscotch with each other if you want to swap slots. Previously you could click on the team header and move through each slot. 4. There is no way to enter a game name and password immediately. You have to find it in the game list no matter what. There is a search, but being able to enter the game name [tab] enter password was very convenient. 5. No way to filter the game list for UMS, melee, 1v1, etc.
I don't understand why almost every single one of these features has gone backwards on the PTR. If there were technical limitations preventing Blizzard from keeping the old b.net I understand moving away from it, but why couldn't they preserve these basic common sense functions. I was very excited for the 1.18 patch, but my first taste is not a good one.

I play a specific UMS game called Stacraft Snipers that still has a community and the latency back then was perfect. The game's reaction time is just too fast now. I wish the devs could implement a setting to revert the latency back to the old day's "Low Latency" Lol have you tried High Latency? Also if you're playing Bald Locks or whatever, why does having latency help you? Extra High Lat is still too fast. The latency needs to be a perfect 462ms like it was back then on Low Latency. Having latency makes the game more interesting for reasons that would not be understood just reading it through a forum. You have to be an experienced player to understand the concepts so I won't waste your time by posting meaninglessness. I just hope if the devs don't fix the latency then if 3rd party people could develop programs to revert the latency back to where it was If you can't explain your idea, then the idea is often not very good. At least that's what experience has told me. "I'd explain but you wouldn't understand," means it's the fault of the person explaining. Only reason I'm asking is because 1. The latency being this good is a boon to the competitive scene, which is the entire reason why this game was re-released in the first place, so I doubt they will intentionally include an option for people to play on something intentionally worse. Considering that it only takes one person to change latency for everyone in the game, this could lead to some disastrous trolling. Noobs/idiots already set every game to Extra High by default. This would only exacerbate the issue. 2. I can't fathom how having a better response time could be worse in any micro situation. I can see it becoming more mechanically taxing and reaction-oriented, but that should be a welcome change. The mechanics of the map are so deep to the point you really would not understand anything I would say, nor would the devs. I'm just hoping there is a way to revert the settings back to the classic latency. The mechanics I'm speaking about are embedded into the fabric of the game and aren't visible on the screen, which is why it is quite pointless to reiterate them here. They have been discovered through years of playing the same old map and thousands of hours of studying single-unit ghost vs ghost mechanics. When you say "mechanically taxing" and "reaction-oriented" that is the right idea. .. Are you doing an "Us V-tec players have been doing that for YEARS" bit right now? Can't tell.

So "LAN latency" = makes the game less smooth for less delay?

Awesome patch. About 9.5 yrs too late and overdue when all the Koreans have turned to D hiccup scrubs by now. Bw needed a patch to wake up the player base if it still has one. Action per minute tracking came standard with launchers everyone was using to launch from their personal hardware so it is time that was wrapped standard in the software too. This might obsolete a lot of hacks that weren't patched out of viability in 1.6.11 also. Bw is such a consequenceless game and pursuit anyway it was a shock to me anyone ever was tempted to fix matches and abuse exploits and what not. This patch should refresh the purity of the game to all the players. Hopefully same side colluding and over fearfulness among teams and players will get put to bed here and now with this one. It would be nice to see icccup blizzard or someone release a standardized pack of 150-300 maps never before seen that scow players could use for ladder competition so the game isn't stale. Korean mapmakers really got lazy too and dropped the ball and American map makers mostly upload Ms paint worthy shits for multiplayer competition. And there's nowhere to share game accounts battle reports or league making on the web since every site became solvent except for Tl

It would really help this post to have some page breaks imo. It's really hard to read in it's current form.
Ignoring of course that especially the pack of 300 maps being a really unattainable goal.

Can you hide the Replay progress bar? In case you wish to view a game purely for "recreational" purposes and want to be kept in the dark as to the game length?
Is there an fpvod option available for Replay viewing as there is in SC2?

Got the same for GTA5/ Far cry, LOL Isn't there a new setting for FPS throttling? Sounds like it could be running at a very high FPS.

I am looking forward to getting back to BW I had a lot of issues when i tried to run it the last time a few years ago. Fucked up colours and other stuff.
I was wondering if the fish-server integration will be available upon launch of the new patch? also wondering if there are a lot of games for complete noobs? It was a long time ago since I played BW.
Hopefully the bugs mentioned is ironed out asap

Actually in-game seems okay though? Not sure totally.

Thank you sir ! Is there any assurance that this is not malware-riddled ? I mean it's hosted on a non-really-official-source, any insight regarding the safety of the binaries ? Since providing inbound and outbound network connectivity will be needed for the game I'd rather take some precautions Worse case I'll wait 1 or 2 days until Blizzard releases something public, but hell the wait is hard !

Fullscreen isn't working for me, I suspect that's why the mouse sensitivity feels so bad

I'm having a weird problem, can't launch the game at all, getting a :"ClientSDK.dll missing" error, on Win7 64! Anyone else? Any fix?
