Just because there are like 5 extremely talented terran players in the world who happen to own everyone else doesn't make terran the strongest race. if you followed great players like pillars (one of best tacticians imho) and gad.... people dont divert away from 2 gate. if you watched them play...they never did two gate. they did 1 gate to reaver...quick nexus. they sair/dt. they fotoned and carriered it up. there had to be 7-8 different build orders (more than any other race) that you can do effectively. try it one time. 1 gate zealots and reaver. protect cliff on LT. then drop them. they'd have to fight it off with hydras...there's no way they can get to mutas in time...its proven unless they start off with quick muta in mind first. then micro it. sure the cooldown is in play...but youc an really hurt them if you know how to micro it. try dt/sair? its not great...but hey...sometimes it catches people off guard. suppose a sauron styule zerg...he'lll never make nothing more than lings. fotoning up and carriering is not bad either against zerg. carrier with proper back up is good. its bad against lings/ultras and scourge...but if you protect it well enough...u'll win easily. and against terran. every heard of the stove? it can really put enemy in bad position. try it. | ||

Watch nal_ra play, watch reach play (not as much as nal_ra), watch garimto, intotherain  Foreign top protosses usually doesn't mix it up that much. But that is because if you want to do a build you will almost always have to time it, which is something you do through playing, a lot I mean you can't just do different builds without timing them (trust me I know ). | ||
