I'm quite SC2-illiterate so simply looking at his results doesn't tell me much. How does he compare to Bisu's level when he decided to switch for example? from what I recall from several months back, Flash got knocked out of Code A into Code B. He was making some headway, was looking quite strong and proficient in SCII and even made it far in first HoTS MLG(2nd place) and kept making RO16 in Code S but then for whatever reason, he kept tumbling down and ended up in Code B. There's like 2 terrans in Code S now, 12 zergs or something and rest is protoss XD He's still a monster in PL but doesn't do well in individual leagues it seems. I doubt we'll see Flash switch to SSL and such anytime soon tbh. He's likely getting a good salary even if his performance isn't anywhere as good as in BW and he probably will work hard and continue working hard after Jaedong called him out. Either way, even if he switched, I think it'll take a bit of time before he starts to become the top Terran again when you consider other terran players have been playing BW 1+ year more than he is. As for comparison to Bisu's level, Bisu only managed to win 2 games in PL(all kill round against Shine and rorO) but other than that, he was rarely seen in PL and never got anywhere in individual leagues. He lost to an SKT trainee who all-in'd him as Terran in one of the last several qualifiers that he played. He won more then two games xD. 8-8 in normal PL. 2-1 in the PL Special. excellent! testing your bisu SCII PL knowledge lol. Either way, those are the two most relevant ones I remember since I watched. He shut down rorO down hard and beat shine after a base race of sorts lol. Unlike Flash who made Code S several times and such, Fantasy is unable to replicate that so far. Maybe oov is giving him special training lol

Flash is the third best player in Round 1 of PL with 6-2. Flash and Stork are too stuborned and hard working to get BACK to bw.

Crashes is one thing, but these freezes is another; like, whenever it goes into full screen, the game tends to freeze from time to time, I'm wondering if there's a way to incorporate this affinity setting method into mca64. Might go for an XP VM as well actually.

Might go for an XP VM as well actually. I believe that mca64Launcher already sets BW to 1 core. Just wondering, what's the status of your CPU Throttling setting? It doesn't, had to download Prifinitty for that. As for the throttling, it's off, but I've tried both on and off, it's not deterministic - sometimes I can play for hours without a freeze, sometimes it takes like 30 seconds for it to lock the PC completely. + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler [Research history] + + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + + Show Spoiler + By the way, as I'm looking through the threads, is there a fix for the black textures glitch upon connecting to multiplayer (whichever server) when playing on full screen? I might need to add that I had to install DXGL for the colors to get fixed, mca64's color fix didn't make any difference; I'm running W7 on Radeon HD6670, recent drivers. Scratch that, is there a way to fix colors on W7 that doesn't involve using DXGL? Applied several patches already, no luck so far. ddhack alleviates the issue of W7 color glitches with recent graphics card drivers somewhat, not perfectly but hell, better than nothing - here's a screenshot of how it looks in the chat: + Show Spoiler + ![]() It's friggin' lovely that it runs on native resolution and allows for easy tabbing though, I'm gonna stick to it until I find a better solution. Never fucking mind, ddhack locks the mouse cursor to the top of the screen when in-game. :| I'm open to suggestions! So how to easily fix the color glitches on W7? + Show Spoiler + http://sourceforge.net/projects/dxwnd/ DXWnd - it's primary use is to force DirectX fullscreen apps into windowed mode. Run it, select Starcraft from the list, set the path and check Hook enabled, Hook all DLLs, Remap Client Rect (all by default) as well as Desktop in Position (might want to Keep aspect ratio as well), and leave other options as they are. Works like ddhack (except it doesn't screw up the cursor when in-game), but has a small disadvantage over it as it requires to have its window open before and when running the game. I have no fucking clue still - DXWnd screws up the text in BNet. Recent AMD drivers (13.11 beta 9.5+ apparently, 13.12 included) fix the color glitches.

Yeah bisu wound up with just a few units left and sacced an expo but his macro plus gateway count brought him up to max real quick whereas the t could not recover the composition of vults and tanks in time for the final fight (which bisu won beautifully with a massive stasis and lotsa storms).
