Savior
I vaguely recall someone mentioning it was someone else. You sure it's savior? Any source?
That was made up by desperate Savior fans. It's confirmed by Larva that that Tasiki is former Hwaseung Oz member Park Woo-young, who used to play Terran but has switched to Zerg.

korean netizens say its Star, former korean semipro that swtiched to zerg recently. very strong macro player with a lot of potential, hope to see him in SSL

Nice to see former pros integrating well into society. Calm hwaiting!
Calm was of the Zergs that I had an ample amount of reverence for nearer to the end of the KeSPA era. I was kind of hoping he would return one day to the Afreeca scene, but it's nice to see he is doing well and is moving onto other things he finds important in his life now.

I never actually witnessed any of the games, but I had heard it was Calm. I guess I was incorrect.
There was a rumour (a playful one I think) before it came out that it was Star, that if tasiki can destroy Bisu then he must be a high level Zerg from the Kespa era. It was unlikely to be JD or Hydra, EffOrt has just returned IIRC, ZerO is already there, Kwanro doesn't make sense and SoulKey is going strong in the other game so the only guy left is Calm.
I miss the fucking shit out of broodwar. It's been 4 years since SC2 has come out, and I simply stopped watching starcraft altogether after that point. I remember staying up until 6am EST to catch any game with Flash, Jaedong, or Bisu (and a couple others). I remember having avid and heated discussions on the forums or in live report threads which would reach sometimes 200+ pages. I remember living vicariously through my favorite players victories or losses. My day could be strongly affected based on whether or not Flash won or not.
I don't really read the starcraft forums anymore since I started playing dota...but I need to know, what has happened to this game post BW? Is there still a proscene? Do people still make money off this beautiful game? Is ICCUP still in use? Who regulates tournaments? Do any "old" pros still play?

ya, figured that it wasn't correct but couldn't remember who it was either, thanks. Same to probemicro's comment.
So I downloaded iccup and tried to play. Problem is that my latency seems to be very high? (In the game lobby everyone has 2 green bars except me) In the chat room I have a single green bar. cs go sc2 work fine. Anyone knows if I can do anything?

bars indicates the ping to the server, not the players your going to play.
Basicly the only way to find out if youll lagg ingame is to actually play with somebody.
Does anyone know what Killer has been up to lately? In recent times Killer seems to have been rocked off his high pedestal in the scene and never gotten back up.
