The memory could not be read whenever the thing tries to open the replay automatically, and it seems that turning off the auto open thing removes the extra functionality. Is anyone else getting these problems? same here t_t Ok, are you in admin mode? This happens to me also, tried running as admin. same error. I got it to work fine. It might be the issue with the mini version of starcraft? I have the iccup "condensed" starcraft that you download off of their site and it works fine for me. Did you set the directory to the folder where your StarCraft.exe is?

Everything else will be done automatically: Launcher will search for enemy to match your skill level. Launcher will test connection between you and your opponent to make sure the game won't lag(real connection test, not ping). Launcher will solve problems with local ip-addresses and port-forwarding. SC2TV implemented their server with autosearch engine a few years ago. Unfortunately, they didn't have enough time to support it. I'm happy to announce that now they are supporting our project. They consult us on different tech questions and will provide source code of their server (if we need it). I'm excited. Please do this. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However, you shouldn't let people change their hotkeys. Letting people do that is like letting people play fighting games with automatic combos. The fact that H and P are so far away is part of the game. If they weren't, microing two groups of mutalisks at the same time would be much easier than it is. It will also force people to get used to new hotkeys, or play with a disadvantage, because you can change your hotkeys to a superior layout. I've been playing with a french keyboard.A and Q keys are switched, it's never been easier to 1a2a3a4a. That actually sounds harder unless you have tiny baby hands. My fingers feel cramped just thinking about typing1q2q3q4q5q6q7q8q It wouldn't be that bad if they just let you switch between official language set ups. The biggest issue comes from if you play this server and then you have to play a tournament, you might not be allowed to use your modified hotkeys. Also it is kinda annoying to ask users to spend hours figuring out the optimal setup and then memorising it. Especially since most users have been used to the old set up years. It's intimidating for new players and old players alike lol. It discourages you from playing the game because if you don't do it you feel like you're playing sub optimally, but to do it is a huge pain.

Lol only good thing Blizzard ever did with sc2 was improving replay watching with unit tabs production tabs apm able to remove the wireframe for big battles etc would be nice if this could incorporate all those features?( minus the part where only one person can watch replays) but thanks so much for this this is going to be amazing

Can you make it possible if the person adds the account details, for it to jump to multiplayer, since watching reps together with others is a fun thing(missing from sc2 for example) ? 1. Our launcher doesn't support advLoader plugins. I don't know what statinfo feature does. I should take a look at it. 2. It'll be implemented with auto matchmaking plugin. Creating multiplayer games and watching replays together are basically the same thing. All current features are only for replay watching. They will not work in UMS games. 2. Working on it. And 3 months ago people were saying the game was dead! The passion people have for this game is truly inspirational. From people like Sonic trying to keep the scene alive against all odds, to the coders like Mars_Quirinus hacking and modernizing the game for free. It gives me hope that BW can live on for many years to come.

Edit: One more thing. Just make it also resizeable. So resizeable and moveable, would be really nice.

Will you be running an actual battle.net server for this (PVPGN or something?) or will your server set up LAN-style games for the players? If it's the second, ideally you'd put in chat channels with the launcher too.

The vast majority of the functionality provided by this program comes from a different project, and project you *should* be supportive of: BWAPI. All these guys have done is wrap that stuff in a GUI that doesn't look horrible. If you'd like a much more sophisticated replay observer plugin, I'd recommend taking a look at AssuredVacancy's work. He clearly put a lot more time into it, AND he isn't throwing pie-in-the-sky ideas out there to try to make money.

F1-F6 become camera hotkeys. Honestly that is the only thing that pisses me off. If you want I guess you could let users make profiles but hardcore players will probably get pissed off.
