Hey yo, Fantasy fanboys! Remember when he beat Stork and all the Stork followers were trying to convince you that Stork was the better player, and that it came down to builds and preparation?
Guess what you sound like right now~
And to call the builds that Jangbi did lame is just stupid. That elevator in game 3 was genius. I was like "lol not another proxy reaver from Jangbi", and it gets scouted, and then he's like "YOU ACTIVATED MY TRAP CARD" and has a build prepared that is completely different to the typical fast reaver (which indeed Fantasy was expecting, as the replay showed). I'd never seen that done before, it was brilliant.
Now the last game being DTs, yeah, that was a bit lame.

We are just angry and seething with rage and trying to find an outlet to make ourselves feel better.
Right... so if Fantasy does a dropship play with 2 vults 1 tank, then another 4 vult run with 2 tank support, it's genius play and not cheesy. Sure...
Game 3 Fantasy scouted the proxy reaver and wasn't able to block it.
Game 4 Fantasy gambled a double shop vulture rush instead of his previous fast acad double comsat, then sees Jangbi clearing mines with zealots... and still doesn't start ebay?
Came across a violin piece today which fits my feelings at the end of this OSL nearly perfectly.

Farewell all the joys of BW which I've enjoyed for nearly a decade. I still remember the first MSL finals that actually caught my interest - it was Bisu vs Savior, the day after some friends of mine had told me how Savior was unbeatable, how he was something else entirely. Never forget, and Bisu's the reason I ended up playing Protoss in both BW and SC2.
Still hard to accept that BW progaming is over. Still, I found it somewhat amusing that Fantasy lost due to not having detection in the deciding game, seeing how he won over Flash in that third game..
And so it ends, awash in it's own proud history, unfettered by the corruption of the imitators and infiltrators, it stands, for one final moment, free and uncaring of those who would tear it down and build their petty empires from it's legacy.
A fitting way for it all to end; the same way it had begun, on it's own terms, and powered by the passion of those who wanted to be a part of something great.
And as the last bastion of pure, undiluted BW takes its leave of the scene that no longer deserves it, I too shall take my leave, it has been a good run, a period of gaming history that has been a honour to witness.

To people suprised about the BO in the final game, here's a gem from the final LR thread. Play it to the tune of The Beatles, 'Let it be'.

It really needs more love <3 Damn you fiqq for making me laugh while I was crying.
And you know what is the third.... fourth.... worst part about Fantasy losing? We don't get to see HawaiianPig spam TL with his epic html Terror. See page 112 of SemiB LR thread for reference =P
An era has ended, but we can hear a cry of a newborn beyond the wall in the East. And the prophesy speaks of the return of the king in 2052.
So be patient, my friends, and remember to teach your young about what once transpired in a country far far away... So you will be able to enjoy it once more, together.
BW FOREVER!
But now, it gets to be SC2!! <3
I just hope all the pros will switch over to Hots.
ignoring the first line since it was addressed already,
WHAT THE FUCK? How the hell Hots a "switch"?
What you need to worry about is LoL slowly eating up everything SC2. Now that's a switch, if viewers and sponsors go over to LoL.
I think it was a worthy and dignified last chapter of SC1 pro gaming. The finals had Lim Jin Rok showmatch and a good story for the actual finals matches. Can the Protoss get two Starleagues in a row or will Fantasy finally get his gold after he tore up his part of the bracket?
The matches were not as close or epic as one hoped, but better than one feared.
The atmosphere was great, the casters passionate. Instead of letting it die a slow and painful death, they all came to celebrate Broodwar one last time.
I don't know how what I feel. In a few hours, we will see Jaedong playing. Now his drones are rendered with higher resolution, but he will show that it's the players who makes games epic.

Amazing players can't stop a boring game from being boring.

Yes! Jangbi's so good.

Idra is a fantastic player! Or is he?!
Arbitrarily speaking, I used to detest the player wholeheartily but then as time developed, I've gained a massive respect for the guy because he is the sole foreigner that is able to handle Korean training regime in which 90% of them don't nearly take this job as seriously and just dick around ffs.
No, Idra is not the sole foreigner that can handle the Korean training regime. His training is also pretty horrible, even tho he trains a lot.

I really like the notion of "a guy being amazing at BW is boring in SC2 = SC2 can't be exciting!" That logic is awesome! If we took all the worlds best basket ball players and put them in a football match, it would prove that football is bad, because the games would be horrible!

Yeah, I think almost any SC2 fan could namedrop like twenty foreigners that a) probably does a lot more training than Idra, b) probably would steamroll Idra, and c) is a lot less bm and more serious than Idra.
I'm sorry for contributing to this very rude derailing of a thread about the mighty Jangbi though! Let's forget a SC2 zerg that hasn't been any relevant for the scene since 2011, and instead talk about how sad it is that the greatest game ever is going out forever!
By the way I'm under the impression that the CJ Entus progaming team training regimen in Brood War during the time IdrA was on the team is far different than whatever training he does currently in Starcraft 2. I think that's what Xiphos was referring to.
Still, other foreigners joined and trained with Korean Brood War progaming teams for various lengths of time, so any distinction between IdrA and the rest is just an arbitrary "length-of-stay" line and/or guesswork at how "hard" he trained.

Whoa crazy I played that solo in a concert once. Anyways, I'm here to ask how to find vod for this epic last BW game ever? I'm sure it's easy to find I"m just a total noob.
And where do I find the OSL sc2 stream? Never seen it anywhere, is TL not aloud to put it on their stream list on right of page?
