If he also gets scary good at SC2 once he's used to the game, that would also be good for BW, because it'd increase interest. SC2 is also starting to stand on it's own merits, so SC2 personalities are feeling more comfortable talking about how awesome BW is because it's not going to cost them their jobs. Even day[9] was giving his "baseballs vs frisbees" speech as to what he misses from BW. Granted, some of this interest is in the form of "let's lobby Blizz so that HOTS makes SC2 more like BW!", but it's still there. | ||

Can't do that legally, and day[9] could get in trouble if he pirates PL on his stream. Or anywhere, for that matter. | ||

I just tried uploading a test video (BeSt vs Crazy-Hydra played on Dec 9) and it got content matched. However, the video wasn't blocked; it says it's still available worldwide with ads. Presumably IEG is getting this ad revenue so we can start uploading to Youtube again and all is fine and dandy? ieg copywrite thread It seems like it would be completely legal for him to upload vods on youtube at least, he would just have to do it for the passion and not for the money. Though with how much bigger his viewership would be than any of the current bw youtube casters or the official IEG youtube I wonder if it would be possible to negotiate splitting the revenue somehow with the help of a translator. | ||
