So, it seems that, in response to the popularity of the Huk vs Boxer casts, HDStarcraft is beginning to cast more BW.
Regardless of what you think of HDStarcraft as a caster, he has a fairly large audience of SC2 fans, many of whom have at least some interest in the BW scene. Him doing this is a great advertisement of BW to an audience more likely to be receptive of it, so we should all go show our support for him so that he keeps doing this and keeps helping BW grow.
Bisu vs Stork on Tau Cross from "a few months ago" is his first game. Apparently a Flash/Jaedong game is coming up, and a third one, and then he'll go back to being an SC2 caster with some BW for variety. The more we support the BW though, the more BW I think we'll see.
I'm a little miffed at him consistently referring to BW as "the old days", though
Edit: Game 2. Flash vs Jaedong, also on Tau Cross
Edit Edit: Game 3, also Flash vs Jaedong, on Match Point (Day[9] did a daily analyzing the SC2 port of this map, if you're interested)
Edit 3:
Some more BW from HD:
Amateur Replay - Foekins vs MVP (not the SC2 player MVP, just some guy)
I actually only knew about HD from his BW casts. He was far better and more enthusiastic at his BW casting in my opinion, with his funny side-noted commentary. I really look forward to this.
plz no more "old days" thing, it just feels wrong, but besides that, i guess its good that someone with that amount of followers do bw cast again, from now on ill watch every bw-related cast of him (:
Yeah, he wasn't a bad BW caster to be honest. Although the old days thing isn't the best, it at least introduces BW to am much larger audience than even diggity/klazart/cholera/moletrap had/have.
I appreciate it. Although i wonder from what sources he's going to cast, because he won't find to many replays, and especially how he knows which one are worthwhile? Is he just going to pick the most known players?
Still, gonna pay a visit from time to time to see if something new is up.
