Huh, yeah. Then how did he get away with this? Are they from reps?

afaik those are reps (how he got hold of them I do not know)

Saw Husky cast some bw and tt1 stream some games vs gositerran, now HD doing some casting. Sort of interesting to watch and seems to be attracting people into checking out some bw, good stuff. when did husky cast bw? I cant find it, but would love to see it. There is also this livestream that constantly streams some old Husky BW casts, particularly from a Valor tournament or something: http://www.livestream.com/forgotten0ne
Took me a while to find. I'm not sure if this stream is redundant if these games are covered in the vods linked by Pholon, but if it isn't redundant, then it's pretty cool to see some more old-school Husky.
Anyways, I'm not liking the huge atmosphere of drama and hostile tension permeating throughout this thread :/

Not sure about the Stork vs Bisu one, but I would assume that he found it there as well.

i hope this becomes a more popular thing with the big casters throwing some bw in the works here and there

I really enjoyed the BW casting...I dont know much about BW....but it sure looks pretty in HD stream :D
Flash vs Jaedong game was insane

I like that HD is casting BW. I wonder if this is going to result in new bw players. Probably not many. I imagine that if most of his SC2 fans got hold of BW and played a match they would go "why is nothing moving the way I told them to?" and give up.
Which is a pity. I would love to see a wave of new players on Iccup so I could beat teach them.

I hope this will positively influence the BW forums (with newbs).
|
JvF game very nice. I'm looking forward to some more BW casts!
|
i sent some good reps, hopefully he casts 'em.

So awesome that HD is casting BW, him and Husky have by far the most viewers on Youtube and I hope this brings a wave of new fans to BW. Hope Husky and him dual cast a BW game, how awesome would that be
|
I watched the Hyuk vs Boxer game. While the cast was fun, it was seriously lacking in depth. I chalked that off to his being out of touch with BW for a while, so that's fine. As long as he's bringing more attention to the genius of BW, I will not complain.

listen to yourselves. you sound like washed up, bitter elitists. you don't deserve respect yourselves if you can't give it and cry about stuff that doesn't matter. if anyone is "devaluing the scene" or making it look bad it's you, not him.
thanks for bw casts hd! you da best! You come to the wrong place to label us as bitter, old elitist, because other people not reasonable like me would have lashed you up with a proper response . There is a limit , how much we could take , we are running down on one league and there is possibility of the industry going to no where the next season . Don't push it .... I think you guys are arguing over practically nothing. "The old days" isn't ignorant or misinformed or ill-willed or anything else. I think you're being hypersensitive and finding insult where there is none. It's a common phrase that tons of people have used. Unfortunately many of the things you said about BW are true, but many of us are still a part of the BW community and it's detrimental to try and threaten other people in the same community because they disagree. We're in this together, we just don't think "the old days" is a big deal. And without a doubt, HD is trying to help the BW scene now, so I think it's worth letting this "one" go.
Anyways, thanks, HD, for doing this. I've been following a lot more BW lately and I'm glad some major casters are still trying to keep it going.

This! Let's not take it as a jab at the BW scene. Rather it's a reflection of BW in relation to HD and his own personal timeline.
Thanks HD for giving BW some exposure!

HD is funny. Often he refers to SC2 scans as "comsats" or other variations. Its funny to hear him do the reverse unit mistakes.

Thanks anyway, more casters can't hurt that's for sure. Because he's referring to him casting BW "back in the good old days"...

Stats would like to have a word with you (they were at that time though)
Referring BW as to the old days when you're a SC2 commentator is just condescending -_-'

Haha we're so through the looking glass, thanks for the commentaries, keep it up!

It*s nice to see some BW replays being casted by HD. I joined TL because of SC2, but I played BW back then and I enjoy BW streams now and then. But it would be nicer if he would explain the differences between the games a little more. Like: Why the zergs are building 3 Hatch so early (to keep up larvae production, I think ) and so on instead of telling us, that Flash is a outstanding player and Jaedong is Outstanding, too.
Anyway, I would love to see some more BW games casted bei HD!

That specific game was a 3 hatch muta build. The timing is to bank enough minerals/gas so that when your spire pops, you can immediately begin 3 hatches worth of mutas.
