Testie: It's quite viable, but I made a few mistakes and solid play by my opponent and good muta control didn't let me take full advantage of ling / scourge.

Testie: I haven't really tested them enough, though they really should fix Gaia's 1:00 minerals and gas. That's kinda imbalanced. ;-)

Testie: I think they are going to be tought, especially since I'm not practicing for my matches. I'm just helping my friends pracitice for their matches, in matchups I don't need. It kinda sucks I'm getting the short end of the straw. But I really don't care about TLT.

Testie: I just hope for a Testie vs Mondragon final. That would be cool again. But that seems unlikely after one of us hits the losers brackets since it's BO1.

Testie: Well, do you expect me to say someone else? Whenever I play these people I beat them much more often. And have for years. I said my apologies. I said we could play tomorrow. I also said I'd understand if they wouldn't let me finish.

Testie: I thought it was funny at the time. I told Veg to nuke me in the finals, and he ended up nuking ret.
Testie: Ehhh, I told him, and them, that I'd be able to play the next day. If they cared. And to just give me the 50$. I played the tournament and still earned 2nd place, no? Yet I was given no $ because I ruined the finals? Pfft. I gave them a great series vs ret in the WB finals. That's enough.

Testie: I have great respect for Oxy. He ran TANL perfectly. Even constant reminders on MSN, which is going out of the way for us. I have respect for ret as a player. I acknowledge him as one of the top dogs. He's great. (Though I smack talked him all in the finals).
Testie: That was all in good fun to me. Then once he beat me my ego got damaged so I had to say "wtf i've beaten u more often, im the favorite" then I realized that was stupid.
Testie: I should have just said good game. But hey, I do a lot of stupid things. Shrug, above all else. I'm just a person who makes mistakes. And if it makes them feel any better, I lost $100 when I went and played Poker with my boss.

I don't know what you all are talking about. Testie and his giant ego are getting old? He criticized himself several times, and in my opinion made it pretty clear that, when candid, he's nothing like his "persona" or whatever. He admitted that he made mistakes, and the reason he's not stressed out about TLT is that, as he said, he's getting a bit bored with BW. Frankly, if everything I did people just spat lines about how arrogant I was, I'd be tired of the community too. He acts confident to intimidate, in my opinion, and it seems to work for him, considering he wins so much. He was very respectful towards everyone in this interview, and its just beyond me how people can get on here and take one line out of context (yes, acting like he's not into TLT because he's arrogant, when in fact he said "right now im in a very apathetic mood towards BW. Perhaps it's all the extra hate i've gathered." I'm not just defending him to defend him, I doubt we would get along in real life, but it really is absurd how people treat him. I'm glad you guys appreciated my interview. I was lucky to get some very candid comments from Nick. DS-Slayer was there(ArmaniModel) and when I asked Nick what MU's he was working on tvz and pvz was chimed in and when Testie said its noones business Slayer jumped on him for first saying he didn't care, and later being less candid about his strategies. DS-Slayer was like, NEWSFLASH, Testie cares a lot about TLT. So Nick's close friend intimated that Nick is actually thoroughly preparing for TLT.
Stop defending Testie folks. Think how fun the world would be if everyone could say "oh it was just my ego" everytime they do something retarded. Testie needs help in real life but none of you are helping him by defending him for being a retard on the internet. As it seems to me he was put in front of a tv-screen at a young age, and continously encouraged by someone who was telling him how unbelievable good he was at that particular game. When this was not followed up at an older age a reaction naturally came. That reaction is the "ego" he's struggling with.

i believe Oxy payed his entrance fee for him to play. As he did not finish playing, oxy doesnt give away price.

does he do anything else besides playing this game? he plays in every single tourny, he plays like 200 games (+resets a lot of accounts with like 50 games) on every single ladder, and he probably plays a lot of non-serious games too.

His supporters are his supporters and will always hold out hope for Testie and try to see him in a positive light, despite repeated disappointment.

Whether you take his behavior "seriously," "half-heartedly," "jokingly," etc. will likely determine how annoyed/bothered you are by his behavior (seriously, half-heartedly, etc). Regardless of the degree of passion you have on the topic, it's hard to see him as anything but an annoying but skilled bundle of issues.
These comments about people taking his behavior too seriously don't change the fact that he is who he is. If anything, Testie supporters tend to be more passionate about him than his haters. Most of them just throw out quick Testie-hating posts that spark statements from his defenders who point out how stupid it is for people to care about how much of an ass he is, while they care so much about pointing out that people do and why it's wrong. Basically there seem to be more "casual" Testie haters than supporters, and more "serious" Testie supporters than haters. So stop with the "taking it too seriously" or "caring too much" criticisms already.
