KT Rolster's Flash is currently receiving intensive care for his right arm. When Flash received an MRI scan on the 24th, the results confirmed that there were abnormal symptoms in his right forearm, wrist, and shoulder. The hospital that he went to diagnosed that Flash's right shoulder's ligaments were damaged, and that his forearm and wrist's muscles had bunched up together. After Flash's diagnosis results came out, KT Rolster decided to receive intensive care from JDI sports rehabilitation specialized hospital. JDI is a famous professional health care corporation that specializes in treating injuries sustained by sports players in the knee, shoulder, and back areas. Although Flash is in a situation where long term treatment is necessary for him, because he must participate in the Proleague regular season and post season along with the individual leagues immediately, he will be receiving intensive care for a short period of time. KT has chosen what the medical industry calls a proactive treatment therapy method, and Flash was seen on the 25th at the game stadium with taping on his right arm. KT's manager Lee Ji Hoon stated, "If we exclude Flash's schedule during the Proleague regular season, he has time reserved for concentrating on treatment," and, "We'll see how the treatment goes and see whether or not if we'll send him out in Proleague." Source: http://esports.dailygame.co.kr/news/read.php?id=46166 So it looks like we'll seeing a lot less of Flash in Proleague... Which is a good thing for the sake of his health. Well that explains it. Am I mean if I chuckled a bit at the fact that Flash was holding his left (uninjured) wrist in the pic?

I always thought that it was his left arm since he had that bracelet and that the right arm is the mouse arm, with the left hand for the keyboard.

We can only hope that he will recover, and that after this OSL he will have the possibility to take an actual break from SC. If he ever recovers his former level after a break is an entirely different question, more important is that he retains usage of his wrist for the rest of his life.

I'm actually wish him to retire and rest for a while before this injury becomes something disastrous. ( I know it's very serious right now already, but could still be worse if KT push him in tight schedule in the far future right ? ) Don't get me wrong I do not wish to see Flash to retire during the peak of his career, but really we have to consider his safety.

Stuff like this doesn't just go away.. it takes a miracle.. i'd like to see him stay in the game as much as anyone else, but i don't know if that may be a possibility. So, for the time being, i'm just gonna sit back and appreciate what he's brought to the sport. hope you get better, flash. well since Flash is God, I'm sure he can perform a miracle himself. No, but seriously, I really hope Flash can take it easy and that his group is not extremely challenging. I would be sad to see him push himself and see that pain expression on his face.

When you lose mobility because of pain in your wrist, your other joints take up the slack and they are rather inefficient at it(I have very poor mobility in my ankles therefore I get knee pains easily). If Flash already injured his shoulder then this is quite serious.

I don't know much about bw, but in my eyes Flash is the most dominant terran that Korea has ever seen (correct me if I'm wrong!) and not seeing him anymore would break my heart I mean...Violet. I'd say that's the chart topper for tear jerkers...but that's just me. Speaking of...where did the KT Violet ribbon go? It used to be up..did I miss something here? On topic...Flash needs a break, something fierce. The poor kid's too young to do this to his body and just like any sport, if you push too hard the sport will push back. Still, obviously one of the most talented players to ever walk the scene. It would be an absolute shame to see him retire before he himself chose to. Lee Young Ho Hwaiting!
