I honestly think a lot bigger changes are needed than using some 10-button mouse + Show Spoiler [ More details] +
(how does that help anyway; if it's used by every pro, they'd still overextend themselves to even newer levels). The devices should be such that it doesn't benefit you to stress so many muscles, bones and joints in your body, the way it is now. And don't worry about gosu-ness, it can still be preserved; I'm not talking about input devices that become the great equalizer and as a result destroy professional gaming. Just such that are specifically designed for physiologically safe gaming. Even the so called "gaming" mouse and keyboard today are far from that. Because the original concept for mouse and keyboard, as tools, comes from a different designer's goal, and gaming for years was more of a fun exploit of these devices.
