Would the Island expos be in tank range from the main? The natural is so good for muta micro too.

I don't see the purpose of the middle buildings. 3X3 means you need splash, specifically lurkers (because tank siege can only hit one or two rows at a time) to take them out. Temples usually have 5000 Hp, so 250 lurker shots? Even if it is substantially less, it would be faster to go around the other side. And if you opponent controls both sides, than it is late enough in the game for it to be idiotic to try to march your army across a narrow bridge. I guess it allows easier access to those bases, but because the progression of expos seems like MP, the center would be the 6th base after the 4 on your side and the island.
Not a positive first impression for me overall.

This map looks fantastic for vulture harassment, especially with drops. Seems like it would be hard to get enough minerals to make carriers a threat.

im not very good at map analysis.. but mech seems pretty dam strong on this map.. am i right?

Just looking at it, T can contain Z to 2 base forever. Open middle and High 3rd is perfect for camping mechs and narrow exit from nat is bloodground for all zergs...

Taking a third will be fine in ZvT. It's just going to be harder to take a fourth.

Apparently, he says he uses them quite well in practice. lol. I hope he uses carriers as well as he does in practice when it comes down to the MSL.

Ugh, if this map turns out to be the next Polaris Rhapsody...I don't even want to think about it.
I really don't want another case where it's something like Bigfile semis (though those were pretty good games, I must admit). I hope they're keeping Triathalon in the map pool.
