Main Team 3 ![]() 7 ![]() 7 ![]() 3 ![]() 4 ![]() 1 ![]() 5 Woongjin - Woongjin, however worryingly bad they are at times, does have a bunch of depth. I'm debating dropping to WeMade and picking up a 3-pointer to replace YellOw, but we'll see. I may also go with MBC instead - or pay for STX and dowgrade somebody. Anti Team 5 ![]() 4 ![]() 4 ![]() Other than Action, who is bad and seriously overpriced thus making him a clear anti choice, this is basically boom or bust: HiyA and Jangbi are both potential S-Class players (thus the still high price) in terrible terrible slumps (thus the anti selection). If either returns to form, I'm screwed; if they keep playing awful, this will be just fine.

I think Anytime will definitely get more playtime especially since everyone else well, sucks atm. You've made a critical error there--Anytime was released from his military service a little over two months ago. He's back to playing for Hwaseung Oz.

Efficiency (best points scored per cost so far): WeMade (3), Brave (3), TurN (3), ggaemo (4), Stats (4), by.hero (3), Crazy-Hydra (3) A little math reveals this is only 23 points; on further inspection let's drop TurN and Brave (who saw less work in R2) to get to 17, and pick us up some ace players. For instance Hydra (7) and ZerO (6). Final: WeMade (3), ggaemo (4), Stats (4), by.hero (3) (c), Crazy-Hydra (3), Hydra (7), ZerO (6). Most Improved (most improvement from R1 to R2): This is going to get expensive, because a lot of aces were playing badly in R1. Anyway, your start would be: Hydra (7), Light (7), Stork (7), Calm (5), Leta (9), Shine (7), ACE (0). Even with ACE, this is a 42 point team; how you reduce it is a tricky question. Light is usually a WL star and is getting back on his feet; keep him. Leta looks overpriced but probably worth it because: Winnersleague. Stork hasn't shown up that well in past WL - ditch him. Shine and Hydra are essentially clones of each other record-wise so far, but because of their very different play-styles I'd only keep one. Calm's always a threat. So with: Leta (9), Light (7), Calm (5), Hydra (7), ACE (0), you're at 28. I'd recommend spending your 2 on Grape and whichever of Cloud and Rock (both 0) you think will a) suck less or b) play less). Alternatively, pick another 2 pointer; alternatively, go with a pair of 1-point threats (Xellos and Reach, Xellos and Sharp, Xellos and Peace, Xellos and honestlyXellosistheonlyevencompetent1-pointeranywayjustpickone). Final: Leta (9) (c), Light (7), Calm (5), Hydra (7), Grape (2), Rock (0), ACE (0)

Your Player's Team Wins: +1 Point*** So just imo an equivalently skilled/priced CJ or SKT player should be valued higher than an ACE player simply because of an increased likelihood of their team to win. Can somebody please do a comparison for the historical results of choosing a 13 point player vs a 6+7 point player? Thanks, ![]()

Count on him to be sent out a good number of times provided JD doesn't win everything. A definite steal for main. 3 ![]() In a time when P is strong (several teams that are doing well have at least one strong protoss), Brave has quietly amassed a solid record vP. Coupled with Stork (who is looking weakest at PvP recently), he can help Khan overachieve. 5 ![]() Another solid vP player and STX's second ace. He'll be sent out a lot more now that he's in form, and expect him to be a clutch player. 3 ![]() so i herd streakbreaking flash/light/sea/midas/fantasy is worth extra points 5 ![]() A good all-around player on hite. Pretty tough to snipe, since he's developed his vZ and vP matchups, and he can snipe almost anyone at vT. 7 ![]() I don't get why the #1 PR player is worth barely half as much as the #5 PR. 4 STX I would have picked MBC, but their aces aren't looking very strong lately. And Oz can't even bank on JD to win everything. STX it is. Anti Team 3 ![]() I'm pretty sure he's a fluke, and his team isn't winning. Why is he 3 points? 3 ![]() vP sniper my ass. He hasn't beaten a capable, in form PvZ player since a hugely streaky run last year in SPL. What does Hogil even snipe these days? A sick JD? 7 ![]() You might be thinking, wait, what? It's true that Light can beat zergs. But what kind of team is idiotic enough to throw zergs at Light? Obviously, it'll be Terran or Protoss. Light's been figured out since his epic run last year. Most teams have not one but two players who could beat Light. That's more than enough to stop him. Streak ending is worth points now, which gives a bit of an edge to snipers. Without that, I probably would have gotten Classic instead of Skyhigh and used the extra points on a 6-point team. To be honest, I'm still considering that, since the streak ending points aren't exactly huge. Right now, I wouldn't be as confident in KT or Oz as I normally would in SWL. Flash and Jaedong are looking more mortal than ever, and (assuming their winrates have dropped to a depressing 66%) their chances of an All-Kill are around 20%. But who'd cover for Flash or JD if they do lose once? Once Flash and JD go, the rest of their teams are generally comprised of below-average or out-of-form players, which means deep teams like STX can actually beat KT and Oz. That doesn't mean they're not going to win, though. If JD gets 3 wins (not unlikely) and Backho/Hiya/Anytime can muster together a single win between the three of them, that's still a win for Oz. Same if Flash wins 3 times and Stats/rOo/Action pull something together. What I'm worried about is that if Jaedong or Flash lose after picking up only 1 or 2 wins, their respective teams are probably doomed. And that's looking more likely than usual right now. Prices are not so much inflated as scattered. I felt like there was a large range of players with about equal skill levels that spanned point values 2-9. Although that's probably a side effect of R2 being really weird in that almost nobody played consistently. Except Stork. Who is now 7 points. Very good team, looking forward to seeing you dish out the pain! Subject to change.

i'm betting on stx to win this WL, so i'm putting shuttle and calm in my team. Hope i'm right (tought i'm cheering for CJ to take this round ). Last WL was my best FPL so far, if it weren't for FBH i could've been in the top 20 or top 10....

Bbyong is actually good. you just dont know it. Hydra is gonna become a bonjwa. hes gonna overtake Jaedong and Flash after winning his first MSL and not slump like the rest. I have light because i need a good terran on my team and he was good last WL. Paralyze has an afro. Snow will help Hydra destroy the world in 2011. I dont like calm. Jangbi is slumping hard. HAAAAAAAAARD. and i doubt Violet will do anything with Flash allkilling everyone.

It's true that Flash/Jaedong are threats to all-kill but people need not worry about starting times for that. After all, if anything, KT/Oz might send out 1-3 players before sending out Flash/Jaedong so playing time concerns aren't entirely that bad.
