Haha what? You obviously don't know how many that played SCBW, I even heard some random people talking about their SCBW clanwar on the bus which I had never seen or heard about (and I know pretty most of the swedish scbw scene)

I don't agree with this at all. At the end of February TL concluded one of the largest BW foreigner tournaments ever. It spanned four months from the ladder stage (which was open to anyone who wanted to play) to the final match. An amazing team of dedicated administrators, designers, programmers and casters made the tournament matches available to anyone who wanted to watch, and for a solid month we watched incredible BW games every weekend.
I don't understand how you can be here, posting on this forum, which is a representation of the BW community, and think it is dead. It blows my mind.
Not to mention the ICCup server, which hosts a ladder that resets every three months and is in its twelfth season.
Then there's Liquipedia, the premiere strategy database for SC:BW, that has already given birth to Liquipedia II, which is building itself piece by piece as Blizzard builds SC2.
These things speak of a living community, not a dead one.

WOW, this is one big thing. ToT is indeed the most memorable SC:BW clan. Still a very understandable move, as SC2 will be much bigger in the foreign scene than any other RTS ever was.

So far I was just uninterested in the SC2 beta, but I'm slowly starting to dislike its effects

RotS, LG), LRM), and NrT have all been around much longer then mouz. If you think their old school, I assume your somewhat new to the game. lol

and well nowadays a lot of ppl have diff definitions of old skool. depends if u been playing since pre-bw days or like about 2002/2005 or w/e >.<
like for example some/most ppl consider SEn old skool nowadays lol but to me he's still new skool in my mind which makes me feel pretty old T_T ...it usually feels like im still in 2005 most of the time whenever im thinking about bw and shit rofl

ToT is synonymous to the foreign BW scene for me.
it's the first "foreign" scene i got to know and admired.

We (EG) all play SC2 and currently BLOW at scbw so showing up to the clanwars has been more of a formality..
I completely understand what ToT is doing here. SC2 is the future guys. Every team that wants a piece of that future is going to work at it.. not scbw sadly ;(

Great news. I remember a while back Mondi was going to disband ToT with Sc2 arrival, guessing he's staying in the business.

Starcraft 2 is good in the Beta, I can only expect it to improve in the next months and years. By then, Broodwar will be a fond memory.

although I'd kinda like it if that happened but it wont cause even if sc2 does turn out to be a disappointment, it'll still be the game where the money will be.
