Not really. On maps where cliffs play a role less important than that on LT, 3 fact vults allow for map control, contain and the ability to expand earlier for the vulture player vs builds that allow for fewer units. I think 2 fact Vult-->tank-->expo(+acad) is not a bad way to go vs a 3 fac vult build. Just get siege and move out carefully about when the expo is ready.

If you go Wraiths against Vults your opponent would more than likely just send Vults into your base and kill SCV's faster than you can kill the Vults.

i think 2 fact pumping a few early vults on ramp and switch to gols, preferably get Academy for scan quickly, when switching to gols you may want an SCV ro repair vults over ramp so he wont get in your base, and the most important, the timing to attack, since he may try to switch to Tanks to stop the gols you MUST attack before he has enough to stop your attack, you wont be able to climb his ramp is he is defending but you will stop him for expanding while you do, so he will have to wait for a few tanks to expand.

if ur micro is good just make 3 fac vults also --
that is... on a map with few cliffs. if u got cliffs just make a couple vults till u can get gols and start dropping :D!

Nostalgia I agree, I don't find Gaema very limiting though, I know Vultures are good on that map but it has a gas expo so it's not too limiting.

either build more vults to gain an advantage or wall and tank - secure expo but be careful not to let your unit count drop to low or he will contain you..

i disagree Hovz, its a 3 FACT vults, not 2 facts, switching to Tanks take a lil bit more and i said fast academy with a few goliaths the early vults and the academy you can quickly get ot of your base where most mines are and then the second bunch of mines after you came out of you base would be defending his possible expansion, if he has an expansion he doesnt have money enough to switch to tanks + siege mode.
