Awesome awesome article. One of the best reads/translations I've seen in a while! I knew Flash really loves Reach, but to see him follow the footsteps of the mantoss really makes me happy. I remember reach was talking about how Flash will become the "Next Big Thing" and I was kinda skeptical about it the first time. Wow time flies by. Q: Do you have a role-model as a progamer? A: I don’t have one. I confessed a lot of things today. To be honest I gave a lot of phony answers during my time (laughs). However, Reach is my role-model as a person. He gets good reviews wherever he goes. I never once heard a person bad mouth him. Once there was a bad mannered team that wouldn’t stop to exchange greetings with Reach. So I said that I would do the same to them as well, but Reach scolded me for having that kind of an attitude. As a result I learned a lot about paying respect to one another and having good manners. This says all. Reach is the man, so is flash Q: Did you ever think to yourself “why can’t you even win a single match for me?” A: I would be lying if I said that I never thought that (laughs). Even so, I never actually said those comments to my teammates. I don’t win all the time either. I thought to myself that it’s enough that I win my matches if my teammates are going through a tough phase. So I’m okay after ten minutes or so. I always think ahead, so things are not that hard on me. lol best question for me

Q: We can’t skip discussing the youngest progamer on the scene, Baby. A: I’ve heard a lot about him. I’ve heard that he is the best player on his team now (laughs). Personally, I think that it’s possible for him to break my record for the “the youngest player to qualify for an individual league”, but perhaps less so for the “youngest player to win an individual league” because of the immense competition these days. The people who win keep winning. If he manages to somehow break both my records, he’ll truly break out of his shell to become a great player. Oh no you just didn't.

Reach is the man, so is flash lol best question for me It's good to see you too. It seems like only a few days ago when you were doing the main bulk of translating on this site. Now there's like a half a dozen nimble fingered translation gurus who'll every interview they encounter within minutes, leaving two fingered typing posters like me free to just sit back watch. I'm not the biggest fan of Flash, but the kid is fascinating in so many ways that I can't help but keep on eye on him. Definately one of the jewels of the scene. As for my short absence from this site, I actually tried quitting watching/playing/discussing Starcraft altogether for around two months recently. No need to say that failed spectacularly as soon as school semester started. Ah well. Better this than being an alcoholic right? My poor insides can't seem to handle soju anymore. I'm getting old.

Better translate the entire thing right away. 3년차 프로게이머 이영호... okay... in his third year of progaming... Flash? Third year progamer Flash? Flash, progamers for three years in a row? 최종병기 스토리... the story of... SCREW IT how am I supposed to translate the title. Forget it... (after a while) Still not translated? Hmmmm..... maybe everyone's busy dating their girldfriends this being Friday night and all... let's give it another go... (two hours later) ..... AHHH GOD!!!! WHY!!!!!!!.... (another two hours later) 꼼딩? Elementary school cheeser? Sly kid? Cheese child? Juvenile crook? ARGH ENGLISH SUCKS. IT CAN'T EXPRESS ANYTHING. FUCK IT I'M STICKING WITH CROOKED CHILD. (nearing completition) ..... will..... KILL...ANYONE... if they have already translated the piece... Sleep deprived and thouroughly frustrated, I was half insane by the time I finished translating. God knows how I managed to complete it this time round. Any other time I would have switched the damn thing off and done something equally stupid, but at least free from searching the internet thesaurus for the right word to captivate the meaning of 꼼딩. Ah... but the memories will last forever. Right?

Anyways thanks for the interview translation I really liked reading about flash.

Seriously, someone needs to come up with a decent translation for 꼼딩 because it rolls off the tongue so well.
