No, I'm not advertising anything. I just want to hear some insight on the legitimacy of the website and it's 'regimen', and perhaps some first-hand experiences.
I've been thinking about ordering the products on the site, and although it's not expensive, I don't want to waste my time trying out something that won't work effectively.
Also, it seems like the 'regimen' on the site closely resembles that of proactiv (both use a 3-step system that includes benzoyl peroxide) and if anyone tried that out, I'd love some feedback

proactive is bullshit. the regimen works for light to moderate acne but won't do jack for you if its any worse. Just nuke your face with acutane, that's what I did and its the only thing that worked for me.

Um I used 15 percent benzoyl Peroxide in high school for awhile. The reason they have those four steps is that most of the time people don't get the clenser off of their skin.
Probably the way to do it is to use soap and scrub pretty throughly and then moisturize afterward so that you don't rebound with more oil on your skin.
sorry about the typos

isn't scrubbing your face the thing you're NOT supposed to do? You're supposed to like lightly pad your face

The proactiv treatment didn't do anything for me when i was pubescent and acne-ridden. I don't have any experience with any other acne treatments, I just kinda rode it out until I grew out of it.

That site recommends for 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. But that's for little girls with sensitive skin. I just use 5%. It's not that big of a difference though.
Anyways, I find benzoyl peroxide works pretty good. A lot better than all the shitty 'Oxy' products my brother uses, and without the disgusting chemical smell your face has afterwards. It all depends on your skin though. Your skin is unique to you, and certain things might work better than they do for others. In general though, the benzoyl peroxide seems to work wonders for a lot of people, I find it works, and I'm not even very consistant with the regime.
I just throw it on every now and then, and even that does a lot for me. I used to have really bad skin, but now it's usually under control to the point of only a few pimples here and there. I think if I was more strictly following the regime, my skin would be even better.

My experience is this: don't fuck around with non-prescription acne medications. They're all different versions of the same stuff — and it's not nearly as effective as the many prescription options out there, while being more destructive for your skin.
Even if you only have mild acne, consider going on Acutane for a few months. Even though it's advertised as only for severe acne, most dermatologists will prescribe it (especially to teenage males) and, here's the key point: in the vast majority of cases, it cures acne permanently — that's right, you can completely eradicate the stuff. Acutane is a wicked drug and will dry out your skin something fierce (try to avoid it in the winter, if you're in a Northern clime) but it just flat out works.
I've never actually used Acutane (always just had mild acne...maybe I should have used it) but recently I've been able to pretty much totally clean up my acne with a prescription foam called Evoclin. I highly recommend it.

Before you start Accutane or any other prescription regimen you should do extensive research on it. Google search "accutane long term side effects".

I kind of disagree with JWD. You can actually acheive alot of what you can find in products such as proactive and skinID just by going to the store and buying certain products. For instance there are creams that are sold in ever groccery store that contain about 2-5% Benzoyl Peroxide that can be used to wash your face. There are also soaps for washing the face that contain no oils that will not be damaging to the pores. As long as you just read into what you are buying you can basically find the same materials at the groccery store for a chaper price than buying the name brands.
I just do this now every day and have managed to keep my skin pretty clear. I used to have very bad acne at a younger age and tried everything from proactive to skinID and even some other prescription medications/creams all of which didn't really work all too well. It really is just a matter of getting past puberty and making sure to establish good habits of washing your face and staying clean.. I also firmly believe that keeping sheets clean and making sure to keep your face away from dirty surfaces helps alot as well. Keeping these good habits will slowly but surely get you a clearer face and complexion in general.

My acne suddenly kicked me in the back when I was in the army and throughout the whole experience I was using ProActiv, did not do a fucking thing.
Dermatologist is a fucking goon and gives me BP10% (which is what ProActiv is 1/3) and I still have mild acne.
What a huge pain in the ass. My take; acne pisses me the fuck off so I just want accutane and couldn't give a shit about the consequences--I'm 23 for christ sake and have worse acne now than I did in high school.
My point; acne is so case specific, the usual bullshit doesn't work for me but I have what everyone calls mild acne. Just keep trying, don't stick with shit longer than say ... 6 months. Hate to go against what most people say but man if you don't see results in some fucking fashion move on to another treatment.

I've had some success with the site, not complete success though. Actually what's worked the best for me is taking vitamin A supplements- apparently that's basically the same as what Accutane is.
