it hurts so much right now i don't even know what to say, i threw up 3 times over the course of 2 hours, my head is throbbing, and i unfortunately cannot go to rest(got so much shit to do)

i took tylenol, but its not working, and yeah.

my question to Tl is if there's anyway that i can make this headache feel better/go away without going out or something.
maybe like i'll have it at home and so i can be like "cool i have it at home, i guess i could give it a try".
any help is appreciated... this could be useful for future reference.

What sometimes worked for me as a kid (when I was too young to take adult medicine) was lying in a quiet, dark room and putting a wet facecloth on my head.

Rest is the most important thing. Try and take it easy for time being. Do you have any other symptoms besides not being able to keep food down? If you have symptoms such as fever or body aches, you should really consider seeing a doctor just to get checked out. It may just be something like a stomach bug. Acetaminophen (tylenol) should help the headache. If that doesn't work, you can try taking ibuprofen (advil, motrin) or naproxen (aleve). If you are throwing up, it is important to stay hydrated. Drink gatorade to rehydrate and replenish electrolytes. Hope that helps!

This is a migraine from the severity of it.
DownMaxx has the best advice IMO.
Dark room. NO LIGHT. LIGHT = MIGRAINE. NO MUSIC. Low temperature if possible.
Basically reduce all sensory input as much as you CAN and sleep for as LONG as you can. Drink a pint of water before you go to sleep.

thanks for the help guys, i'm probably going to slip a bag of ice under a headband and strap it to the spot where it hurts, currently drinking a lot of water. No other symptoms, i'll probably try downmaxx's suggestion, sounds good

so.... why do you have a headache? drank too much? is it a sinus problem? are you dizzy? need more information. the salty-coke-Vietnam-trick might not work. cannabis> aspirin > Tylenol.

DON'T take aspirin...aspirin is no longer recommended for use as a pain reliever for people under the age of 18, as some research shows it may contribute to the development of Reye's syndrome.

okay so i got the headache while i was at costco today, like my vision started being weird so i was like "zzz... i'll go outside" like my vision was being weird because of how my eyes kept focusing on whatever was in the aisle and then everything else would just black out so after i went outside my right eye was throbbing like a headache, but then turns out its just a headache and not my eye.

OK so far you have described vomiting, and an intense headache that was so bad it affected your vision.

Go see a doctor.

don't ice it to much or else it'll cause nerve damage, my basketball coach told me to ice it 20 minutes on, and then take it off for 20 minutes

use ur index finger, middle finger and thumb and push the area between ur thumb and index finger firmly and hold for a minute or so. Its an old pressure point trick i picked up. Headaches can also be due to dehydration, so drink plenty of water throughout the day.
