Yup, I build a second turret because I saw 2 gateways thus 2 dt's. I think either way I would have lost after taking out that dt since he had 2 goons, but you never know......=.=;;
Playing protoss would be so much easier if I cheesed, I could probably make it all the way to D+. The entire reason that protoss players cheese terrans so often is that it is super easy and works often. Doesn't change the fact that it sucks though.

It's part of the game for a reason though. 0 Scouting assumed, if the terran decides to skip an ebay/scanner/mines to prevent a DT rush, they are basically cheating the system to get a little further ahead in the game. And the T losing horribly to a DT rush is just starcrafts way of returning the favor.

I know I really shouldn't blame Protoss, but even before this game, I got dt rushed/cheesed 3 times in a row >.<
And the fact that my turret couldn't finish only made it worse, haha

Correct. OP played a player of low skill (could be estimated by probe micro) but sent a scout very late and didn't wall in to cut down the chances of being cheesed. Bad decision making is the reason you lost.
wow when did you play this game? It looks exactly like a game i played as protoss, sometime early last season. Even the building placement and everything......
I really don't see how you can lose to that at all. On ICCUP, I go Engineering Bay after CC ASAP all the time, because I face fast DT/Reaver in like 80% of my games. If you do so, your Turrets are up way before any DTs come knocking on your door. If at all, you're the one to blame, sry..

i saw the proxy myself....no shuttle lol the only reason my $ was at 400 is because i forgot to macro (busy microing to kill the dt ;p)
Well, you now know what to do about it. Next time a pesky Protoss is trying to DT rush you, you'll be happy he's giving you the advantage. Just be careful of DT Drops, they're really annoying.
Well in PvZ I had this one game where I knew the fucker was going 2 hatch muta had my cannons up 99.9% and the animation warp was going but he just smacked and stacked his shit ontop of it on that instance, and that was the end of it.
I know the pain yo, must feel the same for zergs when a terran runs through your ramp with speed vults seconds before your lings could block it.

It was more or less determined that this thread has absolutely nothing to do with any potential imbalances in the pvt matchup. Therefore, the fact that terran has less cheesy options is not relevant to my earlier post.
