Parasite Eve is a pretty awesome RPG. I actually just finished beating it like a week ago. I'll probably start Parasite Eve 2 sometime later. I'm also looking forward to Parasite Eve 3rd Birthday for the PSP... whenever that comes out...

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 was officially released in 1999 but I remember playing it in 1998. Either way that list rapes evin without HoMM 3.

Not bad, really. I've always thought that around 2000 (+/- 2 years) some of the best games ever were released.

Who cares about all the other games. The fact that starcraft and broodwar came out that year makes it the best year in video game history. No other game has even come close to matching broodwar imo.
