Over the history of computer games I only really cared about Starcraft CounterStrike Jagged Alliance Civilization Duke Nukem So I guess 1998 still wins for Starcraft and HL. 1999 is a close 2nd though. Edit: phew, almost forgot The Duke | ||

It was years ahead of its time, suffered from patching problems, and lagged because almost no one had broadband in 1998.
