I know some players tend to have like 1 2 3 4 then 8 9 0 while the 5 6 7 are completely ignored, I tend to do that. I would have 1-3 units sometimes, 4 is one building and double tab on the 4 to go in and macro, but I have noticed people go something like

5t6t7v8v etc as Terran, I was wondering, do they use one hand and manuever their fingers that way or how? I want to be able to do that 100% every game not 70%.

Do you mean when you first hotkey them, like ctrl+ the number? Personally, my fingers are small so I have to let go out my mouse to hotkey from like 6-0 which isn't good at all so usually I just leave some alone. But I think after you hotkey them, you should be able to manuever with one hand, I don't see what would be hard about it, just memorize where T, V and G are.

I think as Terran you need to have 1-5 or even 6 available for your army. 9,0 and possibly 8 for scanners, leaving 7 as your double tap key. Mouseless macro is not possible with Terran. Tanks and Vessels have such a long build time, do you really need them hotkeyed?
1-6 Units
7 Barracks
8-0 Scan

(I don't play Terran)

I find taking other people's suggestions for hotkeys and the like makes me feel uncomfortable... I just do whatever feels natural, but I'm sure some of this advice could be useful so it's up to you.

According to my research, you do, and 100% of the time you lift your cc off to an island, only to find that your opponent beat you there by 1 second, forcing you to run to the mainland.

Hint: there are two "ctrl"'s on a keyboard.

Terran was an example, I don't know, it's hard o tab 6 then go v or t, I need to get my mind around that.

A lot of koreans hold their mouse cursor over the place where zealots/vultures respectively dragoons/tanks are built and cycle through their 4-9/0 hotkeys while clicking. This means they can stay with their armies alot longer, since they don't have to go back to production facilities.

But this usually only applies until mid-game. Late game I would guess they go back to their base and build because of the vast number of gateways/factories.

I don't remember which koreans did this but I think Midas and Pusan are amongst them.
