My god this one was good. Also i feel Chess is way more superiror to checkers wich is a noob game ! Also for the WCS (World chess season), i believe that russian will dominate the scene. I heard it was in their culture and genes I'm mad that Russians play in Western Europe and North America qualifiers, last WCS had like 2 foreigners in it who got eliminated first round. How can we have a "world" tournament when it's just another event with nobody but Russians? They need to fix that. Maybe even have something like the TCL3, where TL invited the top foreigners and top Russians in approximately even numbers. The foreigner who won ended up knocking out like 3 of the top Russian players, and before that he was some scrub who went semi-pro in Checkers 3. See you're all wrong. Everyone knows that Chinese Chess is king. These other games are just knock-offs and wannabe's.

I've heard that pieces automatically micro fights whenever you place them on top of another piece. Such BS.

We should make it so that to kill an enemy unit the players must first do a grudge match of star craft with a battle report and a stream. Only after the battle report is released may an enemy unit be killed.

WE SHOULD SERIOUSLY SET THIS UP

2 teams of 5 members play a game of chess where each side deliberates their move with each other. Then when there is a capture, each team blindly selects a player to represent them. The two play a game of SC and then the winner keeps his piece on the square. The loser's piece is removed. All five members must go before any member can go again.
Due to the uncertainty of capturing a piece, check is still announced but a king may voluntarily move in a way that puts him in check. The side whose king dies first, loses.

Yeah... that sounds cool too.

chess is pretty balanced and that is what I love about it. White moving first is the only imbalance in the game.

HAHAHAHA that was good
How about setting up a 4player team chess match... How is it called in BW... You know... 2 players controlling the same base and army.
That would be a cool addition to chess tournaments, and it could be balanced as hell !
I heard that rook will be smart cast, you will just move the tower

I've played a similar style of chess in my chess club at school, where 2 players formed a team and controlled 2 different boards facing another team of 2 players. Whenever one player captured a piece he gives it to the other player. This ends up in very intense end-games. Sometimes one game will be only 10 moves in and the other will be 30 or so moves in. However, we usually separated the players to 2 distanced tables so that they couldn't have 1 player just telling the other what to do. Game ends when a King is checkmated, with the checkmated King's team as the losers. Very fun.

In the style of crazyhouse chess you can use a move to put one of the pieces anywhere on the board.

Seriously, chess is a no-skill casual game. Got a piece in atari? In a real game, if you have a stone (oh excuse me, piece) in danger of dying you have to actually play to get it out, not this "I'll just move out tee hee" bullshit. The reason all the pieces are so weak because they made the board ridiculously small to accommodate casual gamers and a real stone played anywhere on the board rules the entire board. And what is this about white moving first? Another accommodation to a newbie op race that still manages to lose with a 6.5 point advantage, it's ridiculous.

Obviously white needs a serious nerf. No Queen maybe? I mean just look at this link!
10 strong openings that abuse the first turn move and a Stonewall to obliterate black in no time!

FFS patch the single-player campaign, it still locks up after the first move.
Stupid casual game, Go was so much deeper.
