Lag could use a bit of work as well. When my opponent's pawn was at the fourth rank, I moved my adjacent pawn two spaces up to avoid capture, yet the pawn was still killed. I have reported these issues on the official forums but one of the design guys told me there was no sense in fixing it. | ||

Chess matches have been very static for the last 400 seasons, and we always see players go with the same piece compositions every game. From a spectator's point of view, this is very boring, and there needs to be more AoE attacks, like the exploding pawn. I also saw someone say that rooks needed a buff, but I think players just need to start with three rooks instead of two. This will make matches a lot more dynamic because it will reward players who micro stronger to move their pawns out of the way to release the rooks into the open. | ||
